As the question rang his ears, Shigure would nod.

"Why not? I mean... it couldn't hurt. Hell if I lose its not like anything would change, right?"

Apparently the boy had gotten over his fear of losing this god-forsakened test of merit. But it still stung a little, deep down in his soul. He didn't want to let the village, let alone his team down.

"Hey, since we both got back, wanna go run around town and see if anything's changed? I wanna go see Rosalie-sama to let her know I've returned."

An awkward silence filled the room at the mention of Rosalie. Hiro looked to the ground, and with a sigh shook his head.

"Honestly I dunno where she is. I guess she stepped down or something, and the elders already assigned a new Takikage. Guess we miss a lot when we leave for a year, huh?"

He attempted to force a smile and shifted a tad uncomfortably now. He had not yet met the new Kage, and honestly Hiroki wasn't really sure how he felt about it anyway. He was loyal to the village, sure, that would likely never change. A new village leader though, was a new thing to go through.

A new face appeared on the young man, his pleasant happy appearance had taken a turn for the worse. His half-smile deepened into a completely leveled line, his brow now furrowed. 'How could they have not told him? he would have came straight away, and dealt with this matter?' A slight tinge of red now covering his face.

Rosalie was not in authority anymore. His guidance. His Leader. The person he grew up with as a Shining Beacon of hope in this gutted world. -His- Takikage.

But then it was all clear to him why the village leaders had not told him. the only difference between he and his cousin is that of a measly title. One word that either made or broke you in the ninja world. A word of importance. if someone had this word, they mattered, if not... well, they were just backdrop on a canvas. Hiroki was a Chuunin, and Shigure was -still- a genin.

Instead of yelling and crying about it, a more reasonable Shigure had only spoke a few words to finalize this new information.

"Let's go see this.... -the- Takikage."

Hiroki could tell that Shigure wasn't exactly pleased with that revelation. Frankly, he didn't quite like the thought of anyone but Lady Rosalie as the Takikage either. However, this was the life of a shinobi and he would serve the village. He kept telling himself that too. He let out a sigh and shook his head, patting his cousin on the shoulder.

"Y'know Shigure, your poker face sucks now" he told him with a playful smirk on his face. It was his way of at least attempting to lighten the mood. Would it work? Who knew. He wanted to meet the Takikage as well though. Could be worth the trip.

He shot one last smile at his cousin and wandered off.

Phy walked back after what seemed like forever being back at her team's headquarters. She was different, she wasn't even the same girl that walked out of the exams. She came back solely to give herself a small appearance change.

Shikazi had sheded some feathers at one point or another, and Phy had collected some of those very feathers. The girl would go up to her favorite tree and get to work. She grabbed some thread and started tying some of the feathers together, four to be precise. She would then grab a piece of thread to then tie it to a piece of hair she pulled out of her pony tail and let the string of feathers cascade down the left side of her face.

She grinned slightly being more close to her bird than ever. She taught the darn thing so much the past couple of weeks that she will be perfect to assist Phy in her missions now. Shikazi seemed to approve the new look of Phy's hair do as well.

She figured she would need another trip before long to the shop to get some near clothes. She was all fore her skirt....but she was more interested in long pants that she would tuck into her kunoichi boots. Whenever she got around to that she would take the skirt to alter it into a belt sash. It was time to look more mature.

She figured she waltz into the tower first and see about a mission of some sorts before the store. She hadn't had much human contact in awhile...so...it might be nice. The headquarters was kinda a ghost town anyway. Given the fact she JUST missed her team here...but she never would take notice anyone had been here recently.
