As the boat made contact with the shore, I could see the lone figure standing on the dock. She was almost invisible against the background of rolling white hills, but her hair and the shining headband woven through it revealed her and her alliance to Yukigakure. She was the only discernible shinobi lying in wait, and so naturally I assumed she was the one to join us on this mission. Having only one extra shinobi, however, I had to wonder, was this really enough? I knew of my own team's abilities, but not of their strengths, and I decided that trying to uncover the tricks of a foreigner, even an ally, would be useless in any case.
She was adorned in all white, save for the sword and wire that hung from her hips. There was also a tan bag that wrapped around her waist, surely containing all manner of weaponry or equipment. The boat would not stay here long, so I gestured to her to come join us. The entire ride had been more or less silent coming here, and given the limited information they had about me, I assumed it would be quite similar going to Frost. While she approached and boarded, I turned once more to examine my team. I noticed their silence, and possibly even restlessness among some of them. Or, in the case of Phyre, some uneasiness with the current atmosphere, which I related to the boat as she only began such behavior once coming aboard.
The boat would take off almost as soon as the snow ninja boarded, and where she would jump on I would be waiting. I simply gestured for her to come among our band of ninja, waiting for her to come close enough for her to join the conversation I was about to spark. There would be time for introductions later, as a pressing question forced its way to the front of my thoughts. "Who here has already taken a human life?" It was very much a serious question, and although devoid of what humans call "emotions," I knew that this particular subject was one very sensitive to most, but a question that was incredibly important to this mission.
The boat would have set sail by now, carrying us far back into the tides and off on our way to Frost.
