The clerk behind the counter gestured them towards a waiting assistant at the back of the room. Shiguro, the former Kage assistant, was there to greet them all and lead them towards their destination. "Lady Amira, you sure are a sight to behold. I am certain you will grow into a fine lady." There was no doubt that Shiguro was flirting with the Kazekage, the man was somewhat of a weasel, in many ways. Gesturing out towards the back, they would find a small carriage with a single horse at the lead. The back was essentially a tent on top of a cart, disallowing them from just peeking outside and seeing which way they were going. "Please get into the back. The shudders will be closed. Safety measures, as per protocol. Once you've all been properly introduced to the village, you will be allowed to leave without the secrecy, I'm sure!" Shiguro assured the group of Suna shinobi in his own awkward ways.

When they were all up in the back of the cart, and things were properly closed off, the cart would take them all as a group towards the gates of Amegakure.

[Permission granted to enter the gates. - Please do hurry too, the event will begin soon!]

"You flatter me," Amira said chuckling a little bit before coughing and returning to business. "As you know, we are not opposed to followed protocol, and will go ahead and leave seeing as the hour is urgent." Amira said as the clerk gestured them towards the carriage surely. Climbing inside, Amira felt confident that she and her companions would be safe in the hands of Amegakure. She trusted her allies, and even though Masao's reluctant body language read otherwise, Amira hoped that he would see the good in the rain village after their visit. "Come on boys, we're not going to wait till I'm 60 are we?" Amira asked jokingly as she allowed her companions to climb into the carriage, which would quickly depart after they entered. "Hope this ride goes well." Amira said with apprehension as the messenger cat decided to sit in her lap while they rode along towards the rain village.

Isamu had just sheathed his knife when Amira and Masao emerged from the Embassy. He made his way over to them in silence determined just to get through his mission with the miserable Chuunin without attracting any more abuse. Amira cracked a joke as they piled into the carriage trying no doubt to ease the tension. As much as he wished to be rid of the abusive Chuunin he was glad she did not interfere directly. Isamu felt it would be inappropriate for her to interfere so low on the chain of command. Better to let the two of them figure out how to live with each other. The carriage rolled off towards the village with Sadojin sitting silently.

Without delay Masao followed his Kage outside and eventually into the cart. He chuckled to himself at the level of security they had. He truly found it appalling. How could they be so trusting to us? The cart would give away the directions as it travelled along the road regardless if the three of them could see outside as they would feel the cart turn each time. It would be easy to determine distance by the length of time it would take to travel to the gates. Masao wondered if he should say something to his Kage but thought that this lack of security could prove useful for him in the future.

A single messenger animal flew into the embassy before landing upon the side of the desk within the common room. The insignia upon the small vest of the animal itself was the symbol of Kusagakure no sato. Also attached to the vest was a small cylinder which had two envelopes rolled up and sitting inside. Upon opening, the messages would read:

The current Kage of the village,

My name is Anais Futakongo and I am speaking on behalf of the previous Kusakage, Mukuro Uchiha. Without warning Mr. Uchiha has stepped down from his role as the leader of Kusagakure no sato and now I have been appointed to take his place.
I am aware of the diplomatic situation between Kusagakure no Sato and your village, and for now I will not take further action regarding it. If I want to speak with you in person, I will send another message as an attachment stating so. If you receive no attachment to this message then consider this is a notification of the change in leadership of Kusagakure no sato.

Zenkai opened the door to the Embassy as he pulled back his coat to reveal himself. His hair was as dry as ever, tied up to keep it out of his eyes, after all he was here on very serious business. As more eyes began to shift to the Mist Ninja he set aside his sword by the door before he began to remove his headband, letting it fall into his open hand after pulling the not. It was all very quiet as he approached the counter, the golden eyes of the Secretary could have burnt a hole in him if it was not for his resolve. He stepped up to the counter placing the headband down on it and returning her cold gaze with that of his own as he towered over her. He didn't have the intimidating presence she did but at this time he didn't want it either. He needed her help now and if things went wrong he didn't doubt that he'd probably be killed where he was standing. With that in mind Zenkai uttered the four words that he would never be able to take back "I'm Looking for Asylum"

"Asylum? Why do you come to an enemy of your village, seeking asylum?" The secretary raised her glasses and squinted her eyes to get a better look at the man that Zenkai was. This was, to her knowledge, unprecedented. Usually those who came to the embassy seeking asylum were simple citizens of other countries who had gotten themselves in a bind one way or another. To have a shinobi at their doorstep was something new entirely. They were of course interested in having their hands on a shinobi from another village, and headbands and such were worth a lot too, but... The instructions from the new Lady Amekage were clear. Amegakure was not a nation to backstab and betray in order to get ahead in the race.

"State your reasons, and I shall decide if your endeavour is worth the Lady Amekage's time. Lord knows we have enough pranksters around here." This time she spoke a bit more clearly, almost as if she had been woken up on a dull day at the job.

The grin on Zenkai's face grew as he took the Secretary by surprise, what she was true though, Most people would assume this was a prank. He didn't know the exact relationship between Amegakure and his home village but he knew it wasn't good. This could be used both ways though, he knew the headband and information he had was essentially like gold to them and he was hoping he could cash in on it. When he spoke, his voice boomed this time, louder than he wanted but he felt the necessity to match the woman's tone. "I will not serve a kage I do not respect, the Lord Mizukage is a fool and has no respect for those who do not think as he does." He bent down towards the Secretary to look her over, kinda cute was she not? "If he wishes to squander the talent under his command then I shall take my skills else where" The grin on his face slowly turned into a much kinder smile as he spoke the last words "Besides, I love the rain"

"In that case..." The secretary started writing down a letter, quickly licked the edges and sealed it tightly, then rose from her chair to go to their messenger birds. Quickly attaching the letter to its leg, she went to the window and let the bird fly. It flapped through the downpour outside, making its way towards its intended target: The Amekage.

"..Our Lady is currently not at home. In fact, she negotiated an alliance with Konoha, and has been there for a few weeks. Currently, they celebrate the alliance with a series of small festives. If you truly wish to seek asylum here, then travel to their embassy. Prove that you will be an ally to the village. If she deems you worth her time, I am sure asylum will be yours." Nodding intently, this was the only thing the secretary could really do. When it came to granting asylum, there was only one person within the village who currently had the administrative rights to do so - The Kage.

Zenkai stared at the Secretary for a second, his eye twitching, at this point all of his composure was gone, after all this time traveling and getting here he had to go BACK TO WHERE HE WAS!? With a smile and a nod Zenkai walked off to his destination "Oh...Yeah...fun...More traveling yeah, not like I already did a bunch of that to get here and could have just gone to Konoha in the first place but nah, I thought rain would be nice! You love the sound of rain at night, helps you sleep, in the morning it goes good with breakfast, grey skys calm you down, it'll be fun yeah? WELL-" He grabbed his sword and slammed the door behind him, most likely breaking a hing if the door wasn't sturdy enough. The grumpy ninja then set out for Konoha

Eyes On Me //Enter It had begun a soft drizzle, the wind had whipped up clothing and loose hair and was frightfully cold. Yet Anais walked up the pathway to the Embassy’s front doors before pushing them open as if she belonged there. The way she strode in: chin up eyes alert and straight-backed anyone would think she belonged there. Anais strode into the building oozing confidence, her black knee high boots silent as she moved further into the lobby. The ankle-length black trench coat she wore hugged her body and flowed around her like a cape. The coat covered the fact that she wore short black shorts and a black bikini top. A disk (medium) was strapped to her left side while a butt bag filled with 6 kunai and 48 hira-shuriken was strapped to her right. Strapped to her back was a shield (heavy) a small Mandolin and an umbrella (medium) filled with 228 senbon needles. A single gauntlet was strapped to Anais’s left arm while a mono-goggle was attached to her left eye. Anais didn’t need to use any of the programs associated with the mono-goggle as she didn’t need night vision or camera vision, or to zoom up to 25 metres because she was inside a well-lit building which wasn’t exactly larger than 25 metres and it was in the middle of the day. However, her ice blue gaze would fall upon the receptionist’s desk before she approached it with purpose. “I wish to speak with the Amekage. My name is Anais Futakongo, Kusakage of Kusagakure no Sato. I understand that I have sent a message to the Amekage and they are expecting me.” Little did the Enbassy know that Adelle was hidden beneath the shield which covered 98 percent of Anais’s back, her ears sharp and waiting for any kind of movement. Although she could not see her surroundings very well, Adelle was relying on Inoryu to be her eyes while she waited for the time to strike, should the time arise of course.

    Inoryu nodded at the nonverbal order when his teal eyes met Anais' icy blue depths. The Kusagakure forehead protector was secured loosely around his neck, and his middle back length blonde hair was hidden behind the cloak. The robe displayed a background of dark gray colors and broad horizontal green lines with two gray stripes running along the each bold green stripe. It was quite the fashion statement from Kusagakure. And better yet, it retained a tanto; secure in the left side of the robe, hidden, and a slot of kunai hidden inside the right; both easily accessible. It also concealed the butt bag on the right side which contained another slot of kunai, and two slots of bo shuriken.
    Upon arriving at the Embassy, he had sifted through a series of hand seals. The jutsu had fit suited the perfectly. Phantom Foil Jutsu. 
     Inoryu had turned to watch the surroundings, his sense of observation; honed. If anything were to happen that would raise alarm, he would protect Anais at all costs. His hands were tucked away in the gray and green  lines of his hooded robe. He was playing a deadly game and he would follow Anais anywhere unless ordered by her otherwise.

The duration of this technique lasts for 50 minutes per class level. This technique may be negated. When a foe attempts to make a sneak attack against the user, or when anyone makes an attack against the user while they are flanked, a phantasm appears to distract the foe. The phantasm is a disturbing image designed to momentarily surprise, confuse, or otherwise distract the attacker. It could be an image of a wounded friend, a terrible monster, a blast of fire, or anything else (the specifics are determined by the attacker’s subconscious, not the user). It appears immediately in front of the attacker. As the phantasm interacts with the attacker directly, the attacker makes an immediate save. If successful, the attack proceeds normally. If not successful, the attack is prevented. The Jutsu creates 5 programmed phantasm per Class Level.

Lifting her glasses, the secretary rubbed her eyes before donning her glasses once more. Yes, there had been contact between the Lady Amekage and the Kusakage, but as far as she was aware a date hadn't been placed. So them showing up out of the blue was a little surprising to her. Although, she did have information that could be shared, as the Lady Amekage currently wasn't within the village. "Unfortunately, the Lady Amekage isn't currently disposeable. We expect her full return within a few weeks time. The Lady is on a diplomatic endeavour." Nodding her head in apology, realising that the Lady Kusakage had likely travelled a fair ways to meet with their leader.

"If you desire to wait for her return, I can arrange comfortable sleeping quarters, and send word to the Lady in the hopes of her swift return?" Once again nodding in apology, it was about the best the secretary had to offer. As for the surroundings in the Embassy, everything was incredibly ordinary. There was noone with high power, nor anything out of the ordinary. It seemed that the Lady Amekage was mostly employing those who didn't have the immediate strength or power to be useful on the frontline. Naturally they weren't completely incompetent fools, but they certainly weren't powerhouses.

Plan B Inoryu was hot on Anais’s heels after she had entered the Embassy. But the news that was delivered upon her request was far from satisfying. The look Anais wore as the receptionist’s response was that of pure annoyance, yet she held her tongue in check. The receptionist was polite about it, and Adelle’s stirring from behind her was enough for her silent message to kick in: “Be polite, she was nice to you!” With a swift grinding of the jaw, Anais straightened her posture and regarded the receptionist with a chilled gaze, but the smile she wore was anything but warm. “Pity,” She said, her tone bordering on angry, “Can you send her notice of my presence and that I shall return within a week’s time? Unless Lady Amekage sends me notice of her return sooner, I will be back within seven days.” Anais said, fighting to keep her tone polite. A slight shove against her back, Anais jerked forward slightly and plastered on another smile. “Also, thanks for notifying me. You have a pleasant day.” It took a lot to get those words out of Anais, but she needed to play nice if it meant a possible alliance. Kusagakure held no positive ties against any other villages according to diplomacy and that needed to change. So with a bow of the head, Anais turned around on the balls of her feet and started for the doors to the Embassy. “Inoryu, let’s take a walk.” Or in other words Let’s get out of here before I break something! //Exit

    For the sake of the mission, Inoryu had used the transformation technique before entering the embassy. He was sure that he wasn't seen and that he wasn't being tracked. He entered and approachd the counter to speak with the clerk. 
    He would appear as an old man, elderly by age and movement. His skin was sagging from his cheek bones, he had all but two teeth left. He had two squiggly hairs rising off of his crown. But he was also dressed in a white robe of fine silk with silver borders. His trousers were white as well, and he donned shoes that were attached with spikes at the bottom to help shuffle through the snow. He dubbed this character Gempo Ichigaki, "One night please," Inoryu had distorted his voice to one fitting with the character. It was comical, shaky, and completely believable of a man such as he.

Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique)

Skill: NinJutsu

Effect: A technique used to change into people other than oneself, but also has the ability to change into animals, plants, and even inanimate objects like weapons.

Special: "Handseals"

Drawback: Unable to change into any size category larger than the user. May not change into anything that is smaller than Tiny size category (1 foot). Unable to change their voice. Unable to change their sense of smell. Unable to change their chakra signature. Once the user is hit this technique is dispelled.

Description: Using this technique, the user assumes the form of a creature of same size category as they are or smaller. User may freely designate the specifics of his new form (such as height, weight, hair texture and color, skin tone, etc.) User doesn't change their movements, nor handseals speed. In the new form user keeps all their normal abilities unless they use a limb or body part that doesn't exist within the current form. This means the user cannot use any technique unless the body form allows it. User may create equipment so the new form may carry so long as they are not complicated items, or use Chakra (Master Crafted Items, Gadgets, Explosives, Summoning Scrolls, etc). User is not automatically proficient in them and their physical strength is not the same as the item. Any part of the body or piece of equipment that is separated from the whole reverts to its true form. Technique lasts 10 minutes per Class level.

Description: Acting is most often used as a form of entertainment, though it can also be useful in aiding a disguise or pulling a scam. A skilled actor knows how to research their role in order to provide a realistic portrayal to include mannerisms, speech patterns, dialect or jargon. The Acting skill also confers a cumulative 5% bonus (per level above Unskilled) to Disguise skill check rolls. The list below gives examples of Mastery and what the character can do.

-Unskilled Give a stereotyped performance.

-Novice Pretend to be a person whose background is not too dissimilar from the character’s own.

-Average Play a role convincing to an audience not overly familiar with the part he’s portraying.

The secretary, Kagami, raised an eyebrow. It was rare that elderly came in here, and it certainly wasn't a motel where people were usually allowed to stay. Coughing lowly and clearing her throat, Kagami replied. "Naturally, sir. However, we only house diplomats, refugees and ambassadors. I would like you to state your business. Otherwise, the embassy also houses an independant inn, of which the village itself is unaffiliated. If you merely need a place to stay, please see Heero-sama to rent a room. He can be found by the bar, down the hall and through the door." Smiling warmly, it was standard procedure here. Amegakure wasn't a country where the embassies were meant to be places where people stayed for extended periods of time.
The Innkeep Heero and his maids took care of that business instead, usually making a decent profit off of travellers.

[Inoryu]

    Gempo Ichigaki smiled, only house diplomats, refugees and ambassadors huh? This is the perfect place to do some digging around. "I beg your pardon madam, it seems my age is finally starting to catch up with me. Indeed I'm only seeking the inn and I have mistaken. Have a good night now dear." 
    Gempo would slowly trod off to speak to Heero about a room to stay. He needed shelter while he trained, sought out the village, and planned his move. He approached Heero down the hall and through the door, "I surely hope renting a room is in my budget. I get so careless with my money, senior discount on everything!" Gempo Ichigaki rose his hand with stacks of green paper triumphantly.

Heero was busy polishing glass when the old man came up to request a room at the inn. "The price for our cheapest room is 150ryo if you stay simple for a night. If you wish to have access to the room for the entire day, it will be 250ryo. Any damaged property in the room, that you do not immediately declare, will be written on your bill."

There was no hostility, nor much hospitality at the old innkeeper and bartender. There were far too many people with vastly different reasons here at the embassy, and he was just trying to make a decent living off of what he had to work with. As such, if Gempo decided to take it, he would find himself with a small five-by-five room with a bed, a single chair and a small wall-mounted desk, hanging by the window.

[Inoryu]

Inoryu thought to himself for a moment. He was calculating how much of a budget he had for rooming at the inn. It was hard to consider that he didn't know exactly how long he would be staying in town for the mission. He had just over 2,000 ryo and he figured it would all have to go to food only.

"Oh, I guess I WILL just have to stay with my In-laws while I'm in town," Gempo turned around to leave.

In truth, Inoryu would have to brave the elements and conserve his money for food only.
