[Spectre of the Falls(Kuroki)]

A Giant messenger beetle flew into one of the upper windows of the embassy side of the two buildings. Once allowed inside, it made it's way to someone who could take it's message as it shed the water off it's shell and wings. The flight to the embassy was far from ideal for the beetle.

It would offer up a leg with a roll of paper around it to what looked like a secretary. It was of course, a message from Takigakure. It read only -

-For Amekage's eyes.-

the rest of the scroll as apparently blank but would read a faint but ultimately not dangerous chakra.

When the Amekage or someone that Kage has designated could read it would pick it up something interesting happen. Words would suddenly appear below the line written in ink. The words would be lit in fire that gave off no heat.

"Lady Amekage,

I would happily meet up with you and a small escort in neutral territory to discuss the previous Amekage and Takikage's relationship and what it should be now between our villages. Please limit to a two Shinobi escort and I will as well. You can have your AnBu determine it is safe before we turn up as well and I will do the same. -Several places between the two villages that were fairly neutral. - I await your response of where you choose to meet.

After the note was read the majority of the words disappear as if they never existed as the locations remain as ash burnt into the parchment.

Claire appeared happy with my terms and had provided the thumbs up in response to my request. I had turned from her for a brief moment to look at the boy who had not yet spoken, but he did state that he was ready to leave whenever. “Very well then. I will just head to Amegakure and you both can accompany me if you want. If not, then you are welcome to wait here.” I said. However before I turned away from the pair to exit the Embassy, a large beetle entered the building. Kagami reached for the scroll attached to the beetle and cleared her throat. “Lady Amekage, there is a message from Lord Takikage.” She said, stepping around the desk, holding out the scroll as she did so. I take the scroll and unroll it and scan the contents. The sensation I received from the scroll itself had me turning it over a few times, but otherwise it was merely just a piece of parchment. So the Takikage wants to meet up with me, interesting. So it seemed as if I was popular today and that news certainly travelled fast. “Excuse me for a few minutes.” I said to Claire and the young man and approached the desk. “Kagami, please bring me a messenger bird.” I said, picking up a quill and dipped the tip in the ink pot sitting upon the desk. I would then write: Dear Lord Takikage, Thank you kindly for your message. Fortunately it arrived safely and promptly. I am happy to meet up with you in Seisui, but please allow me a week to make preparations as I am currently travelling to another village to discuss trades. I shall send you another message when I am available to meet you as soon as I am able. Kind regards Jasmine F. Black Amekage Amegakure no Sato. The parchment was then allowed to dry for a few moments while Kagami set off to retrieve the animal in question. “Miss Vandaline and…” I trail off for a few moments, unsure what to call the boy. “I am ready to set off to Amegakure when you are ready.” I said, turning briefly to acknowledge the two people here in the lobby. However at the sound of soft fluttering, my attention returned to Kagami who had bought me a Raven. “Please send this message to Takigakure Embassy immediately.” I said, rolling up the parchment and stamping it with the Embassy’s stamp. Kagami nodded once before taking the scroll from me and attaching it to the Raven.

While I waited for the two visitors to decide what they were going to do, a familiar raven flew in through a small opening in one of the windows and fluttered around my head before I allowed it to land on my arm. The parchment I recognised straight away had come from the Amekage Tower. Frowning, I unroll the parchment and read the quick message and the attached letter written by one of my Dragon AnBU. So Emi Hoshigaki was in the tower at the moment, huh? Screwing up the letters, I release the bird and turn to my two fellow companions. “Feel free to follow. I am required at the tower.” I said firmly before nodding once to Kagami and exiting the embassy with or without the two visitors. //Exit

Listening to everything that was going on around him, he figured that the woman was rather busy, having to run a show that had been left in such a poor state by the leader that had taken up her position before she did. Had it been up to him, he would likely have nodded and walked away if someone were to leave him a village that had been run into the ground. In those regards, he respected the woman for doing her best to fix everything and see to it that all of their affairs were returned to their normal state. With messages and requests coming in left and right, he figured he might as well wait until the woman was ready dealing with the issues of others. He was as good as ready to depart, so whenever she was ready, he figured she would find him.

"I've got time, feel free to take care of your other issues first."

A stagnant couple of weeks has Juniper outside of Yuki and back in her home of Ame, at least the country was, dressed down with her Displacement cloak and Theif's Gloves. Bright eyes and a shock of white hair skittered across the tile, her headband not worn but tucked away in her baggie. The bag also carried 1 slot of marbles and 1 set of senbon.

With a little jump she leaped up onto the counter of the reception area and drummed her nails hastily across it. "Evening." She started in rough common tongue. "I am traveling to visit family in a feudal village and am in need of lodging. I am low on funds so I was looking for..." The word eluded her for the longest. "Work? Maybe use my skills to assist the local villages in some way. This is the only embassy I know of for miles."

Looking the small child up and down the glaring yellow eyes of the secretary didn't sense anything to weird. Most of the travelers who came in here were all odd in some way. In a sense having normality would be more uncommon then one without it. Especially the mentality of some of these people to do assist with the nonsense especially as with the nonsense going on today.Ignoring the child's rough common she was able to discern what she needed and would offer the only thing the village needed help with." Luckily for you we have an emergency that pays quite well. However it is rather dangerous and you might die. If you accept please take this mission slip with my signature." The undercover ANBU would open her desk as she talked and extended the mission slip for the young girl to grab. " If you accept then follow the directions on back and head to the slums. You'll see guards posted  by a large sectioned off area.Wait over there and show them that mission slip and your help will hopefully be here in a jiffy.If you succeed come back here i'll know if the job was done." She would say before going standing up and heading towards the bar signaling for the old bar keep to make a drink.

That worked! Internally she did a dance. On the outside she was business, taking the slip immediately and seeing the mission at hand. Kill an ant queen. There was a tug of conflict internally now... Ants were naturally predators but if they were encroaching on cities and now abducting people to feed their colonies then this sounded like there was something outside of the villages forcing them to look elsewhere for food and, ultimately, change their usual food source altogether.

The thought of that too shook her a bit. "Right, right." Folding up the paper she hopped down and pulled out her map, looking back and forth before setting off on all fours in a scamper, bolting off in search of this nest and her 'ally' who also seemed mad enough to take on such a mission.

A barn owl approached the embassy. It would land in front of the embassy guards. The bird carried something on its back. The "something" appeared to be a scroll with a wax seal. It was the seal of Kumogakure no Sato.

What the letter said:


To whomever this may concern:


I would like to request a formal audience with the Amekage. My village would like to improve the relationship with Amegakure no Sato. Firstly, both of our villages will benefit from a strong relationship. I have not met the Amekage yet either. If possible, I would like to meet you face to face in Yokoburi.
