[OOC: This training occurs in the grounds of the Hyouketsu Estate - Which is currently open. Please post there to draw my character into RP posts while I am in here.]
Stepping onto the yard, he smiled as it had essentially stayed the same... though about twice the size as it had once been; a forty meter square area, with a aqueduct system along the ground to feed water to the garden plants at the edges of the fencing. In the center was a marble square area no larger than fifteen meters square, and at the back of the grounds was a small patch of ice, created by a cooling system just beneath its surface. It was a good environment for his training, and had been since he was a boy.
[Training:
Suiton: Hishou Ame Hari ( Water release: Soaring Rain Needles)
Rank:"C" "B" "A" Rank
Skill:Ninjutsu
Effect: Manipulates water present to form a sphere that hovers in the air. Chakra is then gathered into the sphere and released. When released chakra infused "needles" of water shoot out of the sphere randomly in all directions. Needles disappear into water three seconds after impact.. Continues until all water in the sphere is used , then the technique is ended.
* C-Rank: A small sphere about the size of a soccer ball , Needles are not as hard and sharp as Kunai's. Radius of Needles from Sphere is ten meters.
Special :"Hand seals" - Serpent, Tiger. (User will hold tiger seal and when released the Spheres will release the needles.
Drawback: Due to the randomness of the flying needles the user might also incur injury from being struck. The immense chakra used in the A-Rank version. Requires concise chakra control and concentration thus the user cannot effectively dodge attacks while using the Jutsu. Also must have water either naturally or through another Jutsu
Description: The user performs the necessary hand seals and holds the tiger seal. The sphere(s) are then formed from an appropriate water source. The sphere hovers in the air above the water source it was created from while the user infuses it with Chakra. Once it is infused the user will release the tiger seal, the spheres will start rotating and needles of water hardened with chakra will shoot out randomly. The needles will keep shooting until all the water is gone from the sphere , once all the water is gone the Jutsu is ended.
Limit: Must have Suiton Release; must know Mizu Kunai No Jutsu; Exclusive to Ame no Sato.
Training Points: 20]
Kininata slipped off his haori, placing it at the balcony of the walkway outside the door, and made his way over to the marble grounds ahead of him. From there, he opened up one of a dozen scrolls he had received from his father before he left a year ago - most of which he had mastered now. Reading only briefly about the Jutsu before his eyes, he already saw potential in it for other techniques in his mind, but for now, he needed to understand and master this one. 'floating spheres of water. Shouldn't take that long.' He had nearly fully mastered Ochiru Ame no Jutsu, which uses a similar form for drawing the water into the air, so he could apply that knowledge to this technique.
Kininata stood at the center of the grounds, facing one of the channels of water, and began his meditative breathing. Within moments he had secured a relaxed state, and started forming his Chakra. Only seconds later he opened his eyes and quickly made the two Hand Seals for the Jutsu; Serpent, and Tiger. The Chakra surged out of his body into the water stream, and he watched patiently as a floating orb of water rose from the channel, reaching to almost five meters above the ground. He waited for a minute, ensuring that he had a stable sphere in the air, and then released the Tiger seal... and all that happened was that the sphere collapsed. 'At least the sphere is easily crafted.' He knew nothing much would happen, as he had not attempted to form the "shards" that are supposed to be sent out from its "explosive collapse". He had learned months ago that he was better off mastering each stage as he came to it.
Confident that he could create a floating sphere, the next step was to add an explosive element to it - which again, was simple enough for him. His knowledge of applying explosive elements to Suiton was extensive after creating the Kouu Bunshin Kyuuzou no Jutsu, and could use that knowledge with this Jutsu as well. He again formed the Hand Seals for the technique, and as the sphere of water rose upwards he started charging Chakra within it into a second smaller sphere, less than a third of water's size. He held the sphere there for a minute again, ensuring stability, and then released the Tiger seal; the sphere exploded into a clouds of water droplets, spreading across the ground, though not reaching much further than ten meters - a safe distance from himself. 'Simple, but effective on its own. Now to add the blades.'
Starting over again, he formed the Hand Seals, watched the sphere rise back up into the air for a third time, and started to form the "blades" of water within the sphere - without the explosive "charge". In practice, the small blades would retain their form once he released the Tiger seal, but to make sure it worked it was best to do so without the explosive effect first. So, once he felt ready, he released the Tiger seal and watched with satisfaction as droplets and six thin blades, slightly wider than needles, fell to the ground harmlessly. He nodded, and felt rain drops on his skin. Looking up, he sighed at the dark clouds releasing their heavy load upon the Village. With a brief movement of his hands, he used the Ochiru Ame no Jutsu to stop the rain from landing on him, creating a small "shield" two feet around himself. 'I'm going to have to get used to that again.'
Now it was time to apply all three mechanics of the Jutsu together. He formed the Hand Seals, and watched as the sphere rose upwards into the air. He could feel his Chakra forming the six blades within the sphere, with the central explosive charge ready to go off. He released the Tiger seal, and watched the explosion - it was nice enough... and the free droplets of water did reach the edge of the effect. The blades, on the other hand, did not; they reached only three meters out from the center of the mass. He crossed his arms, rubbing his chin. 'Needs a little more punch to it.'
