[Chuunin Examiner]

Welcome to Building 221B.

Outside the House

A simple two story building. This building takes some time to find as it is found in a slum area. It is a gated area. The building is made of a rock material looking somewhat like bricks. The bricks were painted a white color but most of the paint is almost scratched off.

The Building is directly linked to another brick building with a single steel gated garage door. On the right hand side of the building is an open lot. If one was to look on this side of the open lot they would not notice any windows on either the first nor the second floor.

The gate is a chain linked fence with a simple lock in front directly in the middle of the building. Behind the gate is another door made out of hard wood. The wood has seen some wear and tear. The door to the building is located at the center of the building.

There are four windows on both floors. Two windows are located to the left side, and two windows are located on the right side of the door including the 2nd floor. There is a single air conditioner on the top left side window when facing the door. The windows are not broken but one could tell they are boarded up.

In front of each Window stands a guard with pouch dispensers connected to large backpacks. In front of the gate would stand another man with a large clipboard. Those who wish to enter would greet this man as he would go through the clipboard, locate the images needed and allow access into the house.

Inside the House

When entering the people would be greeted by multiple basic chairs. There would be enough for each person if they wished to sit down. By observation one could tell these chairs were not used for traps as they were simple fold up chairs.

The ground had a crimson carpet, looked as if it was barely put there. The walls had a brand new wallpaper lined throughout in a Distressed Trellis design. The inside of the design was white while the outlines were dark gray. The inside of this room was a 30 foot by 30 foot room. on the far end to the left side would be another door.

There were a couple of vents for air-conditioning and there were a few posters lined throughout the walls. One said "We are here to Serve", another said "The Beginning of your Lives starts with the First Step", another said "Exams are as Important to Us as they are to You."

With all intents and purposes the room was essentially empty with the exception of the chairs. At the far north end when entering would be a sign saying "Relax, we will begin momentarily"

[Raika Tatsu]

Raika walked up to the building, apparently the first of the chuunin hopefuls to make it. The sight that greeted him was rather alarming, but not surprising. Tatsu walked up to the man at the front gate and bowed slightly but politely as he greeted the guard.

"It seems I am the first one here at the moment. I assume we are all meeting up in that house there?" Spoke Raika to the guard, almost rhetorically as he of course knew the answer. Being let in, Raika observed the other guards and their backpacks, rather sure about what they were but not what they held.

As Tatsu entered the house, he was greeted only by normal, fold up chairs. There seemed to be about as many chairs as applicants, so it seemed they were meant for them. Nothing about them seemed devious, so Tatsu took a seat as he waited for the others to join. He took out his small piece of paper with his number and just looked at it as he pondered aimlessly, keeping his mind off of the upcoming peril he would face. Nera--Raika's serpent--hissed quietly, anxious as well to begin.

Phy had took the lead it seemed in her little group of travelers from the Waterfall Village. She wasn't one to usually do this but she just had an issue with standing still and waiting at the moment. She was getting nervous knowing what it was like last year. Though she wanted to put that out of mind. She hated last year's exams, and hoped these exams would be more interesting and go better in her favor in terms of fighting. She would follow some of the contenders till finding a house in the midst of a slum like area.

Phy thought to herself...'Hmm these guys like picking ruins don't they?' she thought as the house wasn't that well kept looking. She would greet the guards as they would check her in by finding the picture that had been taken earlier in the day. She would take some deep breaths and continue to walk towards the house. The walls seemed distressed looking, the place was pretty eerie looking to her. This being noted, Phy would rest both her hands on top of her sais located on her legs. She wasn't trusting this atmosphere one bit. Last time it was quiet, then again she doesn't remember the middle or ending of her actual exam...only the results of them and the beginning.

She looked back trying to make sure that her comrades were right behind her, for she didn't want to go alone on this at the moment. She kept walking till she made it to a room with several folding chairs, she didn't count them, but it looked like a good twenty at a quick glance. She would walk over to those chairs seeing least one other genin had arrived. She would then flip one backwards and sit with her legs spread apart resting her arms and head on the back of the chair. She was sure her team would sit next her in the back which would be the chairs she had picked out. In the back, and in the shadows is where Phy liked to be when she wasn't in any battles at the moment.

A Game Master may roll an Observation skill check for a Character any time there is an NPC, monster, event or happening that a character might notice, even if he did not specifically state that he is monitoring his surroundings. Characters are capable of noticing any event within their perception. Observation reveals only facts, not motivation. Each time learned user gets 1 die roll to increase the skill.

The chilly winter wind sliced into me as I exited the path alongside the rest of my comrades and friends. After a few minutes of actually searching the city, a lone white brick building soon appeared surrounded by a large gate. From this angle we were able to see that some of the paint had been scratch off and that it was made by a type of brick. Plain and simple with a two story structure. To the left of said building was another bricked building with a steel gated garage door while on the right was an open lot.

The gate itself was a chain linked fence with a simple lock. It say within the middle of the building while a wooden well-used door sat behind this gate. What struck me as weird was the fact that the door and gate were located in the centre of the building. Gazing beyond the door, I spotted four windows located on both floors, two on the left while two on the right while the same structure repeated itself upon the second floor. This house was simple, yet will it fill everyone who had come to these exams?

Moving forward, one will need to approach a guard and a man. My plum coloured gaze finds the man with the clipboard before I move directly toward him. “I am number fourteen, Rosalie Salt.” I said, awaiting for the man to tick off my name, or check the image attached to my name. Or whatever. In the photo the examiner had taken prior to being at this door this man should see: A young woman with long ginger hair which was tied back into a loose braid which had been rolled up into a bun positioned at the base of her back. Her fringe was secured to the right side of her face with a snowflake clip.

A small black rhombus was imprinted in the centre of her head, standing out against the ivory coloured skin and plum coloured eyes. The woman in the photo would also have black eye-liner and pale pink lip gloss which covered full, lush lips. Her village Hitai-ate was secured around her neck, the black band with the Takigakure insignia imprinted on the metal slate was tied loosely around her neck. A good portion of her black cloak will be visible as well. But that would only be if the image was a head shot. If it was a body shot, the rest of the image will include:

A black tank top which hugged her curves, further pronouncing her large bust while Takigakure’s insignia was etched into the fabric of this shirt in golden threads. A pair of black track pants and combat boots cover the remaining half of her body while a black cloak (type 4) covered the majority of the outfit. The village’s insignia was also etched onto the back of this cloak as well, the same golden threads that adorned the shirt she wore. If that wasn’t enough to allow her passage into the building, then nothing will.

Should the man allow me to pass through, I would gladly step into the building. My butt bag consisting of thirty blood clot pills, and ten kunai remained strapped around my waist, the bag secured to the right side of my body. My world map also sat inside the bag as well. I also had two hand axes sitting on both sides of my hips, while one was positioned just behind the bag. Inside the cloak, thrity kunai, forty five Bo-Shuriken, two scalpels fluttered around while I moved swiftly into the building. I also had a Bo Staff hidden within the cloak as well, inside a compartment that I had made located at the very front of the cloak itself.

Once inside, the plainest setting greeted me. Basic chairs sat within this room, sitting upon a crimson carpet. To me it looked barely visible, as if it was actually dried blood rather than carpet. I grimace at the sight and enter further into the room before stopping next to Phyre. “Creepy room, huh?” I ask the red haired kunoichi. My gaze fluttered around the room, taking in the new wallpaper which covered the thirty by thirty foot room while another door sat at the far end of the room. I thought about approaching that, but decided against it.

Air conditioning vents were present along with posters which seemed fitting for this kind of setting and situation. I actually expected something grander in setting but I wasn’t that overly picky. But upon spotting the final sign, I bit back a sigh. So after grabbing another three chairs, I drag them toward Phyre’s position and angel them around the kunoichi before taking a seat in one of them. Schatzi and Shigure had a choice of the chairs I dragged over, or would they stand around the room?

Absently, another short burst of chakra shot up through my veins and entering the section within the centre of my forehead as I turned to gaze at the door, half of my attention was on said entrance while the remaining was set on the Kumo Genin within the room alongside Phyre and myself. “What number is he?” I whisper to Phyre, my voice just low enough for her to hear. That, unless the Kumo Ninja had sensitive hearing that is..

Schatzi followed after her Master, though she gave a lingering gaze to the guards here. Solid, stoic. Much more to her tastes than the flamboyant petter from before. Murr. "Schatzi Rutherford, number 15 nya~," she said cutely to the person in charge of their entry to this dreadfully dreary building.

Once inside, Schatzi would again mime the "clone" seal to create a double of herself, who immediately headed for the darkest corner she could find. The original sat with Master Rosie, wrapping her tail discretely around her waist so it wouldn't be made uncomfortable by the chair.

The Schatzi in the shadows would rely on her skill in sleight of hand to conceal the hand seals she formed which caused her to fade from the visible spectrum. This invisibility would conceal her body totally from all forms of perception except True Sight, though her chakra itself could still be perceived by any source that sought out such things. Batlike wings would extend from her back with what would have been a cut "Pop!" if she wasn't shrouded in an aura of silence. Taking wing she would hover silently above the ring of empty chairs, which of course would be slowly filling up. She would place a Doom Ward on each of the other bodies wearing a Takigakure band as well, just in case, since she was capable of designating up to four targets for it at her current level of training.

Meanwhile the Schatzi who was still visible closed her eyes and leaned against her Master who she sat next to. She was steeling her soul now while she could with as many enhancements as she could. As long as it was only herself, she could cast abilities with only a thought, no special gestures, and while moving around if necessary.

Opening her eyes, she identified the one who had arrived before them to the others. "That one is number twelve, meine begleiter. Be careful with him. His power level is on the same level as Fabulous and Jumpy. Less than us, but close enough to still be a threat. I rather like the nickname by the way, Jumpy. The two of you really should give me your names, ufufufu." She watched number twelve closely. What was he thinking? Surely not anything dangerous...yet. Not when things were still so public. Indeed she planned on raising some hell herself if she could separate someone from the pack. Additionally, she focused a bit more of her power to the seal on her forehead. In all likelihood it would regenerate in time for any conflicts.

Description: With a great show of will the user rips their soul in half effectively making a copy of themselves. The duration of this technique is 4 hours per class level. By performing this technique the user makes a full size copy of themselves. This copy is the user as much as the user is a copy of it. The user takes their chakra and splits it in half. This means that the user must now work with half of their energy, and half of the capabilities when dealing with Soulcaster techniques. The same can be said with the copy. At any time one of the copies can dismiss the other no matter what the range may be. If one is dismissed or if they are killed it does not bring back the chakra or energy, however the user will know. If one is killed the other copy is stunned for 1 round. If dismissed or killed any extra items they are carrying drops to the ground as the copy vanishes.

Effect: You see past all the illusions in life and see the truth in all souls.
Special: ---
Drawback: True seeing, however, does not penetrate solid objects. It in no way confers X-ray vision or its equivalent. It does not negate concealment, including that caused by fog and the like. This technique does not help the viewer see through mundane disguises, spot creatures who are simply hiding, or notice secret doors hidden by mundane means. In addition, the technique effects cannot be further enhanced with known chakra techniques, so 1 cannot use this technique through a crystal ball technique with other eye techniques.
Description: User confers on the subject the ability to see all things as they actually are that deals with Energy and Chakra. User may perform this technique among themselves, or along others by touching over their eyes. The subject sees through normal and chakra educed darkness, notices secret doors hidden by Chakra or energies, sees the exact locations of creatures or objects under Blur GenJutsu or Deception effects, sees invisible creatures or objects normally, and sees the true form of a polymorphic, changed, or transmuted things. The range of true seeing conferred is 30 meters. This technique lasts for 3 minutes per class level.

Description: Affects 1 object that is 500 lbs per Class Level. The duration of this technique lasts for 5 hours per class level. This technique may be negated. This powerful Glamour functions like Invisibility, except that it masks image, scent, and sound alike, concealing the subject from all senses except touch and taste. As with Greater Invisibility, this Jutsu does not end if the subject attacks. While invisible, the subject exudes no scent and radiates a silence that absorbs all sound and vibration in a 2-meter radius, preventing detection by Tremorsense and similar abilities, as well as preventing speech and performing of Jutsus with Vocal usage (though the subject remains able to detect scent and can hear as normal). Superior Invisibility renders the recipient immune to detection by See Invisibility, and other forms that would make someone see including Blindesense, though creatures under the effect of the Jutsu can be detected by True Seeing.

Drawback: User may have this technique active on one creature at a time unless they continue training into it.
Description: User must touch the target, or focus it on themselves. This technique lasts for 6 minutes per class level. This technique grants the user a powerful "sixth sense" in relation to themselves or another. Once this technique is performed they receive instantaneous warnings of impending danger or harm to the subject of the technique. the technique gives the user a general idea of what action they might take to best protect themselves unless the opponent is restricted from movement. When another target is the subject of the technique the user will receive warnings about the target. The user must communicate what they have learned to the target for the warning in order for it to be useful, and the target can be caught unprepared in the absence of such a warning. The target must also be within the same "Thread" as the user in order for this technique to work. At first the user may only have this performed one at a time, however if the user continues to further train into the technique they may increase the number per time of learning. If the user learns the continuous training 4 times they are able perform this technique on a total of 5 targets including themselves.

As Maasaa made his way into the building it seemed a few people had made it to the building; though it appeared to be far fewer than the amount at registration. Maasaa didn’t need to check in with the guards as they seemed to know who he was already. Moving inside he spotted the many chairs as well as the odd decorations around the entire room. Picking up one of the chairs Maasaa moved it towards the center of the room so he could have a better view of all the others. Taking his seat he relaxed a little looking at the paper with his number upon it. Would this number even be important? They wouldn’t have given it to him otherwise he hoped.

It seemed he would have to wait here until all arrived. Looking around the room he noted the other people but without a way to tell their skills he didn’t have much to do. For some reason he decided it would be best to keep his strange gift a secret until later. All though he didn’t fully understand it perhaps others would know how to combat someone like him. Black eyes peered at the odd posters that lined the walls all with different phrases. He wondered who else the exams were important to. It seemed someone else besides them had a reason for holding the test.

Kenshin made his way towards the next building associated with the exams, the intercom system blasting orders to all participants. The hunter ducked through the streets to eventually find his way. Upon his left hip a katana, around his belt deck holsters to carry the 4 decks of paper, his clothing consisted and made up of 7,000 sheets of paper. Not one piece of clothing that he owned was made up of any material other than paper. Upon his back a recurve crossbow, modified with a red dot sight and stabilizer. In the crossbow and on his person 3 crossbow magazines, carrying 150 arrows. Upon his being a 1 filter gas mask fitted with an E rank filter. Internally he was augmented with Dual Brains.

The Kamyuja entered the exam room, he counted the chair and made note of how many participants were attending. He chose a random free seat and settled down, he awaited the exams to progress further. So far the exams had been quiet, even with the large amount of shinobi gathering together in a room. He turned his attention to his surroundings, ignoring the other participants for the most.

[Yashouri]

  He easily found the place following the other genins.If it was a test,he would fail it because he was really bad at finding places or things.Yashouri was one clumsy ninja!.After following random genins weirdly he found the building.

  Yashouri entered the place with a full excitement holding his paper which said ''number 16''.,he started to to see the genins better now.The cool shaking on his spiky green hair has stopped after he joined the other few genins in the building.He was probably looking to weak to the other ninjas.He had a soft brown cloak that surrounded him to his shoulder to his belt, and a gunbai thats perfect for his size and weight.He was 1.75 and that was actually pretty good for someone at the age of 15.


  Yashouri took a deep breath and got into a proud and strong stance.He did as he would do always.He put his hands in his pockets and started to walk smoothly until he would find a seat to own temporary.


  He didn't want to sit somewhere far from the entrance and ofcourse the people that came before him.He wanted to get seen.This young green haired shinobi wasn't afraid of people.He was going to make it,and honour his past away parents.Nothing can stop him to become a chuunin... Except a written test...


  He found a seat almost next to the peopel that already appeared here,which was also kind of close to the entrance.He sat down,put his bag under his leg with his gunbai.He took an old leather bracelet from his bag and started to look at it.He thought ''Its alright mom..''. He wore it to his right hand as he found the seat pretty comfortable,probably because sitting after a tiring and long way was the best thing to do.

The Genin made his was through the village. It took him some time to locate said building and seeing that it was located in such a lousy part of town put him somewhat on edge. It didn't seem likely for an event of such magnitude to be held in such a poor location, which probably meant that there was something to look out for, though he had no clue what. At any rate, what's life without some risks?

Wearing his hood over his head, cloaked with the darkness of his cloak, Tora carried on his body the knives which were placed carefully along his body in several holsters. On his wrists he carried two full senbon bracelets, just in case. In his cloak he his a gas mask, some goggles and flashlights, as well as a field cuterizer. All just in care any immidiate threat was to come forth and he would have to defnd himself.

Once inside the building, Tora carefully read the posters as well as noticed the vents of the air conditioner, which would probably mean if someone wanted to poison them, this building without any windows would be the ideal place for it. So, just in case, he had his gas mask ready for usage. Since the last poster said they will begin momentarily, Tora decided to stand at the far corner of the room, where he will have a good view of everyone and everything in the room. It wouldn't be a good defensive position, but it was well placed to quickly hide and escape should things get worse.

He made sure not to note anyone and simply walked to the far left corner of the main hall and leaned against it, taking a deep breath and trying to figure out what would be the next step in this exciting event.

Since she was the farthest away in the beginning Junko had some catching up to do. There was a good deal of people who left earlier before the announcement was given so who knows where they are. Then of course there were people who left as soon as possible when the announcement came. All in all Junko had her own path to be on.

It was an average search for the desired building. Where there is a Building 221B there is a Building 220B and, so forth. By the time she arrived there was still some people who were just arriving as well. Neat. She checked in with the guard holding the big clipboard to "Club Retro" as she'd like to nickname it. He scrolled the list, checked the picture, then nodded that she could proceed. She didn't care where the Exams exactly took place, so the location was practically twice of that feeling.

Walking inside was no different. She had no expectations besides tense ninja and, growing suspense. She only stopped to track how many people actually got here before her, opposed to who they were. The group from before was already stationed in their little pack of high achievers eh? She looked them over too which is what brought her to eyeing a familiar looking catgirl nuzzling up against someone else. Hopefully it was the real thing. She doubted if the personalities would be the same but, she didn't wonder too far about it.

Getting a good look this place was hard to decipher as to what it was actually used for. It didn't matter now but, the curiosity was always still there. Either way Junko gripped her two bags and, found a seat. No where specific, it was neither to be away or near anyone unless they so happened to just be there. All that can be said was that it was somewhere near some dude with green hair and, a brown coat. Whoever the that was, certainly was easy to spot and, its not because that they are practically the first person you might notice when you walk in.

Anyway Junko opened set her bags down but, opened up one of them. She set, her hat down and, untied the red sash from her kimono. She then took off the kimono as a whole and, folded it nicely. She grabbed her special designed Katana sword and her sister`s Battle, Fan out of the bag and, replaced them with the kimono. She was being to get sick of that thing anyway. So this left her with a different styled attire:

Junko`s attire under the Kimono is something much less elegant yet still very comfortable. As for a top she was wearing a tighter fitting White Tank top with matching arm warmers. She had on a black Choker Necklace with her initials inscribed in gold. As for lower attire she had a White and Silver laced skirt with black spandex leggings underneath. Around said skirt was a utility belt holding her, Bo and Hira-Shuriken, Marbles, and Gas Mask Filter: E. Next to but, slightly under was a Butt Bag containing: 9 kunai, one pack of Exploding Tags, Exploding Tag: Mines, and Fake Exploding Tags. Around her left thigh was a single knife holder containing a single kunai. She had simple black ninja model sandals to protect her feet as well.

Afterwards she strapped the fan to her back and, then took the sword out of its sheath and, started inspecting it. From here she would spend her time polishing the sword unless someone, or something acquires her attention.

Casually strolling behind the rest of the genin's from takigakure, Shigure's watchful eye continued to watch over his village shinobi, making sure no unseen threat was to befall them. The boy realized they were at the building as he noticed a decently guarded broken down house. 'Wonderful... another creepy ass building... if there are shitty chairs like the last exams, i'm going to laugh' Low and behold, after checking in with the examiner, and showing his number (6), He would notice crappy fold out chairs, much last the beginning of his last exam.

Immediately looking at the windows and Air vents, they seemed to be able to ventilate, but the air vents could pose an unseen threat. An easily gassed room. With a smirk and a few handseals, Shigure quickly forced the Air around him to mold with an outburst of chakra, allowing 25 air cubes to form. It wasn't the most he could do, but this was all that was needed to keep him, and his fellow shinobi, from succumbing to a homemade gas chamber.

Shigure sat down closest to Phyre, but within ear shot of Rosalie and Schatzi. "Guys, i'm going to help us out here, just in case. You wont really feel anything, but you'll be able to breath if we get gassed." With their agreement, 5 Air cubes would float over each of the Takigakure Shinobi, including the "clone" - yes the boy could see Schatzi's double's chakra - and would fuse down upon their heads, clasping snugly around their neck, until they made a completely clear bubble of fresh air, an air helmet. A great defense against poisoned air for now.

He wouldn't speak, nor move anymore, but just observe the fellow contestants, and create familiarity with their chakra signatures.

Mind's Eye of the Kagura

Effect: The basic technique needed in order to learn all Sensor Techniques.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: The basic yet complex ability that allows Sensor's to find, sense, and track individuals over a vast range. This ability is done by the user closing their eyes and opening their mind's eye in order to see the advanced chakra systems around them. At A rank and above, Sensors no longer need to close their eyes in order to access their mind's eye. The user of this jutsu can only sense those up to the equivalent class rank of the rank they know. (i.e. If the user knows up to B rank in this jutsu they can sense characters of all the way from D to B rank. The basic range of this technique is ten meters.
Limit: Must fulfill all requirements to become Sensor in order to learn this technique.

A person will be able to tell if the chakra is that of a human or an animal. Also once the user sees an individual’s chakra signature once they will automatically recognize that persons chakra signature from then on.
Limit: Must know Mind’s Eye of Kagura.

Fuuton: High Pressure Air Cube (+4)

Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: The user creates high pressure air cubes.
Special: “Hand Seals”
Drawback: Doesn’t do anything on its own. Can be seen by some doujutsu (sharingan, byakugan ect).
Description: The user performs hand seals to make ten invisible high pressure air cubes in a five meter radius around the user. The technique can be activated unlimited times in a battle. The cubes are 1x1 meters and floats around the user’s body making him/her clothes, hair ect. move (looks cool). The cubes are always moving around the user and do not need constant chakra channeling to it, it’s one time technique. The cubes last until they are depleted by a technique or the user dispels them. The user can control the cubes in a twenty meter radius around them and can make a total of ten cubes when first learnt. Additional C rank training adds five meters to the control that can be trained up to forty five meters and adds ten cubes that can be trained up to one-hundred.
Limit: Must have Fuuton. Must have at least 250 TP in Fuuton.


Fuuton: High Pressure Air Cube Manipulation

Effect: The user can shape the cubes into anything he/she wishes.
Special: “Hand Seals”
Drawback: Fuuton: High Pressure Air Cube must be active. Can be seen by some doujutsu (sharingan, byakugan ect).
Description: The user forms the hand seals and releases the chakra into high pressure air cubes. The cubes then reform into any shape the user wishes them to be. The shapes will be shaped ten meters from the user and can be controlled up to twenty meters. The technique doesn’t do anything other than solidifying the cubes and shaping them. When someone gets in contact with the shape, he/she can’t pass by it since its solid shape.
- Small object uses up 5 cubes.
- Medium objects uses up 10 cubes.
- Big objects uses up 15 cubes.
- Gargantuan objects uses up 30 cubes.

[Takeuchi]

The Kusakage followed along beside Mayu, still with his shirt and jacket slung over his shoulder, it was not especially cold at the moment. Still, his body shifted almost uncomfortable, yet that was simply a motion he was unconsciously using to check the familiar weight of his weapons to assure himself they were still there. He looked upon the building as they approached and nodded in agreement to the Otokage's words, "I thought it was just me feeling that."

His eyes scanned the place as they moved by and he shrugged to himself, trying to imagine where the familiarity stemmed. Approaching the guard with the lovely woman at his side he waited to be recognized just as his companion was and went along in beside her and followed to the seats that were pointed out. Taking his own seat he leaned back lightly against the wall with his fingers interlaced behind his head. The whole place had a lot of things that were too new for the place, it could have simply been prepared for the exams, but then why not update the exterior as well?

There were too many variables right now, but things would come to light with enough time, observation, and thought. Yet he was drawn from this by Mayu who caused a corner of his lip to twitch into a bit of a half smile for a moment before he responded. "Oh, I think I could use one as well. My heart is all aflutter with nerves, please, kiss me and ease my nervous heart!" His tone was quite obviously meant to be heard and, while not shouting, he also made no attempt to quiet himself for that.

After a few moments of making an exaggerated kissy face at Mayu, whether she actually kissed him or not, he would continue more quietly. A whisper so she could barely hear it without straining, "Seriously, when I was in the exams before I just took a walk and had to jump behind an abandoned building to avoid an attack and it was done."

[Hitora Ryunobu (Uchiha)]

Crowds, Hitora loved them and he hated them. The main pro and the main con of them were one in the same: they were easy to get lost within. Not too long after leaving the park to register for the exams, the young Uchiha got lost from his companion or should it be said that she got lost from him…Either way the two got separated, where she ended up Hitora didn’t know he knew though that if he headed to the building the intercoms said to go to he would likely find her there.

Arriving at the small building, the young man would look at it he would notice it looked old and that it was falling apart. However he also knew that looks could be deceiving, that in this world of Ninja and warfare that anything could look separate from what it actually was. Walking up to the gates a man with a clipboard would stop him, though not for very long as the man would simply look at Hitora’s face and confirm it with a photo that the registration member earlier took. When the gate opened Hitora thanked the man and walked through.

The first thing that Hitora noticed was that there were chairs, a large number of them, Hitora estimated that there would be one per registered entrant, though he didn’t know how many entrants there were so he could not be sure. The second thing that the young man noticed was that there were posters on just about all of the walls, each pertaining to the exam which was quite strange and Hitora wasn’t sure why that was.

He then looked at each one closely, touching each briefly to see if there were any tricks or if they hid something behind them, after he investigated each he would take a seat in the most opportune spot so that he could observe all peoples that were in the room as well as any that came in as well regardless of who it was, he would also try to read their motives through their body languages of everyone to see if he should be worried or anything that would need him being on his guard…

Hunch: This use of the skill involves making a gut assessment of the social situation. The user can get the feeling from another's behavior that something is wrong, such as when they are talking to an imposter. Alternatively, the user can get the feeling that someone is trustworthy. Very Difficult Difficulty.
Sense Enchantment: User can tell that someone's behavior is being influenced by an Enchantment effect even if that person is not aware of it. The usual check is Very Difficult, but if the target is dominated, the check is Difficult because of the limited range of the target's activities.
Discern Secret Message: The user may use Sense Motive to detect a hidden message transmitted by Acting. In this case the Check is opposed by the Acting check. For each piece of information relating to the message the user is missing takes a -10 penalty to the check. I knew we had taken a wrong turn at some point. The area where I had left from was swarming with shinobi. But after turning another few corners, I suddenly found myself alone with Yoko. So after spending another few minutes searching for the others, I spot a run-down house and spotted the back of Hitora entering in through a well-worn door after having his identification checked. “This way!” I said to my wolf as I head down the street and through the gates.

My shield slammed against my back when I came to a halt. I showed my number (4) and turned to face the man so he could match my appearance with the image he had taken earlier on. Yoko would simply just pass through and enter the room. His nose pressed against the floor, no doubt experimenting with the scents that littered the room. Should the man allow me passage, I’d kindly thank the man and enter. I spot Hitora and approach him, my gaze wary. Yoko had already found a comfortable spot at Hitora’s feet.

After pulling up a spare chair, I remove my shield, sit down and place the shield between Yoko and myself. The large circular object was capable of shielding both Yoko and myself, and the entire left section of Hitora. I didn’t say anything, just sat there and observed the room and the people who walked in and took their seats.

The fairy had left the park and had de activated his dojutsu, he needed to save chakra for a while. Who knew how the exams would work out and how much chakra he would need, thankfully he had a lot of energy yet he didn't know why. As the fairy arrived at the building his swarm of butterflies would fall in reasonably tight to him before dispersing up towards the ceiling as not to be in the way. Looking around he would spot the seat and proceed to take one for himself, his kage had arrived in the building as such he would relax a little. If push came to shove he knew the strength of his kage was intense enough to break apart any disputes.. for now though he would remain quiet and await further instruction

[Seira Kimura]

It didn't take too long for Seira to actually find the building where they were supposed to be. She had recovered from her journey, and was nice and relaxed as well. She was confident she was prepared for this, but she didn't want to be overconfident as that could spell her ruin. She had to be cautious here, there were a lot of strong ninja here, stronger than her, from multiple countries. At least she wasn't the only Kiri Nin here. It hadn't been the biggest group by any means, but at least there were a few of them. She knew one of them from the mission she had just been on with him, so she was glad to see that he had managed to make it here for the exams as well, and she had met the other one not too long ago after registering for the exams.

Yet she was on edge from the location of this building. It was in the slum area. That in itself was a  possibly bad sign. With how major the exams were, they could have possibly afforded a better location. Which was the first sign that the first part of the exam was most likely to take place inside of it, which meant it was probably a good idea to make note of the entrances, exits, windows and any other little tidbit of information she could pick up from a glance and careful studying. Then there was the appearance of the building. Two stories, gated, possibly brick or some other kind of material that was similar. The "bricks" were painted white, but it needed a new paint job. She took note of the garage and the empty lot, and the few windows that did exist in the building, albeit being boarded up. There were guards and pouch dispensers from what she could see. She wasn't sure if that was just as a precaution or not, but she would remember that as well.

She walked up to the guard at the front gate and spoke to him for a moment as he scanned his clipboard to make sure she was supposed to be there. Once he located her and matched his image to her, she would proceed inside, hoisting her backpack up higher on her shoulder and looking around the room. It wasn't nothing extravagant, but there were chairs, which would go to show her that this probably wasn't going to be a written exam of any sort. That was another clue she marked away in her head, and took up a vantage point on one side of the room, against the wall where she could take a good look at all the people and her surroundings unless the wall gave out or something behind her. She wasn't the first person here by any mention of the word.

She didn't want to sit down so that she could be prepared for just about anything, but she did take a close position to them, even if they were just fold up chairs. The room looked recently renovated, so she could tell they probably did that because of the Exams if nothing else. There was new wallpaper, and a crimson colored carpet. She couldn't tell the exact size of the room, but it was a relatively small room, with the door she had entered, and a door on the left side of the room. Then there were the vents. She was glad to see she wasn't the only one who thought of the possibility of gas, and she was relieved to know that she had a gas mask on hand. She pulled out her gas mask just to be on the safe side, but didn't wear it right away. She would be prepared, but try to look not overly cautious.

Late. He was late. Running down the street...no wait...striding down the street in a totally cool and sophisticated way Zakari kept his eyes peeled for any signs of the building where the next stage of the Exams were to be held, hoping that his lateness was not grounds for disqualification or wouldn't make him look too bad. Somehow he felt this was not the case but what evidence did he have to the contrary? Catching sight of a man with a clipboard standing outside a gated building, he would immediately make his way towards the location. The building itself was not very impressive, rather a bit worse for wear, but all looks could be deceiving, thought the Genin as he identified himself to the man with the clipboard and made his way inside.

Making his way inside Zakari was greeted with a multitude of simple folding chairs, atop a red carpet, the wallpaper a Distressed Trellis design which complimented the color of the carpet very well, posters on the walls and pretty much every other Chuunin applicant present, presumably waiting for him so they could start. Holding his head up high and unabashed at any inconvenience he may have caused them Zakari wove through the crowd, looking for a good place to sit. Would he place his posterior on an article next to someone else? Why not? The Kedoin was craving on company after his stint of solitude in the park, this would probably be his last chance to garner allies for any upcoming trials or tribulations which he could not face alone. Staying away from most of the other participants, the broody ones standing against the walls, the old ones whom probably had experience under their belt and the weird, a category which he couldn't quite decide whom not to place in, and found himself a spot between a green haired dude and a girl who was polishing a sword. 

Yet it was not over, the chair between the two did not seem up to the task of seating him. So rusted were its bars and stained was it leather that he pulled it out from its position without a seconds thought and immediately checked 5 other chairs in the vicinity based on cleanliness, comfort, maximum reclining ability and the presence of old gum underneath the seating. Grabbing the fruit of his labors, which took approximately half a minute to the eyes of any observing him, he placed the chosen one in the position of the old one, seating himself between the green haired kid and the sword polisher. Yet he was still too anxious, to sit still, it would not be long before the next step of the Exams would proceed. And the cut on the sword polishing girls cheek was pissing him off. Left untreated it could become infected with all sorts of nasty infections, despite its relatively harmless presence.

"Give me a second." He would say to her, his left arm reaching out, fingers almost touching the cut in skin and the tips glowing green for a few seconds as chakra was gathered. His forefinger would swipe across the cut, barely touching it, yet healing it up quite nicely within the few seconds it took this entire process to be carried out. Satisfied with the work and the first practical use of his healing abilities outside the hospital his arm would withdraw, as he would say, "Much better." For clarification the Kedoin was directing his pleasure at the eradication of the cut, not how the face of the girl looked much better without it. One could only imagine what it was like inside his head...

Description: When laying the hand upon a living creature, the user channels positive energy that cures Minor wounds within the amount of time performing a "D" Rank technique in handseals. While curing Minor wounds this technique brings higher wound levels down by 1 step. Since undead are powered by negative energy, this Jutsu deals damage to them instead of curing their wounds.
Limit: Must be a Medical Doctor.

[Chuunin Examiner]

Just something that needs to be mentioned.

You cannot perform a technique on the intro of a thread, only techniques that can be carried over from one thread to another may be active. Everyone's techniques are voided.

As everyone sites down the Guard closes the door, the clicking sounds of the air conditioner start as it is quite a warm room. It was a quiet luminated room, there were 17 people occupying and no windows in sight as everything was completely covered. The Air was cool and calm.

Contestants 01, 02, 03, 05, 08, 09, 11, 12, 15 and 16 would hear the door lock from where the examiner closed.

Contestants 01, 03, 04, 05, 06, 08, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 would hear the sounds of something rolling down over both the north and south doors with a thud at the end.

Everyone has 2 days to post Total. I will post after 2 days regardless if everyone has posted. Post Once. Play as your character would if I see people reacting to something which they have no reason to react you will be punished.

[Raika Tatsu]

The rest of the participants made their way into the building one at a time, a few coming in closely behind one another. The first several seemed to put some attention on himself, likely due to his rather "loner-like" demeanor. Raika's sunset orange eyes looked back at each of them, as well as the others that came in, trying to take in their features through quick glances. Most of them seemed powerful in some way, which made Tatsu almost uneasy.

"So there's 17 of us, huh? Here's hoping we don't have to fight each other. I'd prefer not making any enemies while here. What do you think, Nera?" Raika whispered into his collar in serpent tongue. Raika's serpent, hidden beneath his cloak, merely nodded. Thankfully, it was unlikely that anyone could understand Raika, and with Nera hidden, it would seem to any who were actually paying attention to the young man that he was merely talking to himself.

It wasn't long before air began running through the visible air vents throughout the room; a nice change of temperature to the room, though the heat didn't really bother Raika much. Tatsu then heard the doors get close and locked from the outside, or at least, that's what he assumed the sound was. Tatsu just shrugged and slouched a little in his seat. Some of the others seemed anxious or even paranoid, but Tatsu knew that such feelings could be just as dangerous as being unprepared. He needn't let his guard down to be relaxed. A small smirk ran across his face as he looked around the room.

Anxious to get started, Raika simply closed his eyes and waited, using his other senses to focus on his surroundings. He then whispered to himself, low enough for very few to be able to hear, "The fun's about to begin..."
