Puzzles
Greetings Everyone and welcome to the 2014 Advent Calender. Today is December 17th, which means Day 17 of the Advent Calender. HOWEVER! This day is rather large and will take a bit of time. As such, this encompasses both Day 17 and Day 18! The theme for both days (If you couldn't see the big letters above) Is Puzzles! Yes, the lovely games meant to wrack our brains as we try to solve through each individual thing. Well in this case... You've got five of my puzzles to solve, but before that happens... I need to know who's interested. Right now, Signups will be open to determine who is participating in this. You need to sign up in order to participate. Can you solve through all of my puzzles?
Here are the rules for this event!
[/li][li]This is a post/submission event! For the first day, signups will be posted here. For the second day, entries will be PMed to Gift Giver. However, this will work a little differently than normal. So pay close attention to the rules that will be posted tomorrow!
[/li][li]This is a THREE DAY EVENT! That means that 72 hours from the time of posting, this event can be closed. Will it be closed immediately after that point? Nope! The thread isn't closed until I say that it is. So if I haven't posted saying it's closed, you can submit! However! Each day is for different things. The first 24 hours is signups, the second and third days are for solving puzzles
[/li][li]There will be two sets of rules for this event. These rules are mainly just for the signups. More rules will be posted when the puzzle solving begins.
[/li][li]If you do not sign up today, you cannot participate in the puzzle solving tomorrow. So make sure you sign up today! Once the event is over, I'll make all of the puzzles viewable for all people, so you can check them out then.[/li][li]You will be linked to a separate proboards board run by me in order to participate, but the boards are password protected. Only those signed up here will receive the password for the first board. As you solve the puzzles, you'll receive the passwords for the other boards to solve the next puzzles.[/li][li]Sharing of the passwords is obviously FORBIDDEN! If I catch wind that people are sharing passwords, they will lose all credit for all of the events thus far, will be unable to participate in the events coming up, AND will lose all the rewards given thus far. Plus Day 17 and 18 could be incapable of being completed. So keep the passwords to yourselves.

Now for the fun part... The prize! The prize for Day 17 and 18's event is... A mystery! Yep, this prize will remain a mystery (Most will be like this). Admittedly I am still working on how the prizes will work for this. But rest assured, for an event like this, you'll get prizes based off of how much you can solve.
And, as with all events, a chance to win one of five grand prize packages at the end of the event. Plus, remember that you have to participate in all 24 events to receive a special prize package at the end! But this only counts if you are sure to signup for it in the first day! Because this is taking up two days, you'll receive two entries into the chance to win the five Grand prize packages, and credit toward your 24 Event runs for both days 17 and 18 by participating. But only if you solve the first puzzle. If you don't manage to solve the first puzzle (Which will be rather easy), then you won't get credit.
So go out there, sign up, get ready to work your brain!
