Greetings Everyone and welcome to the 2014 Advent Calender. Today is December 19th, which means Day 19 of the Advent Calender and the theme for today (If you couldn't see the big letters above) Is Friends and Family! Yes, the ones that we care about the most in our lives. In most cases, we love to have them come by, enjoy their company, and just overall love them. Well in today's event... I want you to just tell me who you look forward to seeing most. It doesn't have to be for a specific holiday, but if you have that certain family member or friend that comes by every year this time of year, then talk about them!

It's another everyone wins event. After creating beautiful stockings and spending a lot of time working through some difficult puzzles, I figured I'd get to the end of it with something easy. The Advent Calender is almost over, so why not talk about who's coming for the holidays or who you just look forward to seeing the most.

Now for the fun part... The prize! The prize for Day 19's event is... Scrap Deaths! Two of them to be exact. This is just in case something happens to your character, or you decide to revamp them. It's all up to you. And you don't even need to claim anything!

BUT! I'll give you a choice... If you don't want your scrap deaths, you can exchange them. You can exchange one or both of them. Each one will be worth 50,000 Ryo. So if you decide you only want one, you can get a scrap and 50,000 Ryo. If you don't want ANY scrap deaths, you can get 100,000 Ryo. The choice is up to you. If you claim a Ryo reward, you must let me know which account it goes on. If you don't claim anything on your post, I'm going to assume Scrap Deaths. So make sure you claim what you ACTUALLY want.

As Always, All entries also enter you into a chance to win the five prize packages at the end. Plus, remember that you have to participate in all 24 events to receive a special prize package at the end! So go ahead and tell us all who you look forward to seeing the most!

I want to see friends that I haven't seen in a long time. I made quite a few in the Navy and if I had the chance I'd visit them. Doesn't matter if it is a holiday or not, I miss a lot of them. When you are deployed with a group of people whom you get mad at, or laugh with, or who knows what, you get attached. It goes deep, like it isn't something you can just walk away from if your feeling so and so are being cruel, or you made a unrecoverable mistake. All these things are thrown out the window when you live with your co workers essential. Anyway just a bit off my chest, *eyes reactivating his facebook account...*

Friends and family, we don't often have anyone visit by our house on Christmas. A lot of my family members are spread out across the world so we don't get to see them often. As for friends I've never had any of those over for Christmas either, the holiday has always been a family exclusive thing for us. Gifts and card usually arrive in the mail or they are given to us before the big day; so as far as friends and family go it's rare for anybody to visit us on Christmas!

totally honest, it's been some time since anyone exciting had come around for the holidays. but i remember when i was like a kid and my family first spent the early hours of the day of christmas with each other and the gifts were on fleek. omg. i was prof. gamefreak. then after that, we would go to other family members hauses and chill with either side of my parents families. fun times; and some years spent reminiscing on lost family members. of course the food was another main highlight---it was literally like thanksgiving but with presents. we were gorged on gift and food. what was totally cool, too, was seeing your friends get cool shit, like things that you both got and later played.

ps3's first year out, when i was going to the ninth grade, changed my life. i couldnt believe i was getting that haha but it was a christmas i wont forget. i used that thing for everything a teenage boy could think of lol

This event reminds me one of my very favorite songs. Although I'm in no way religious, I do love the holidays because it's time to meet the family and get together. It's also a time to have a little break off work and school (Even though I'm working during the holidays this year), and to actually relax. However, It's not an event in which I expect to see someone special. I really like everyone and try to keep in touch whatever the case. 

Anyways...There are two people I'm excited to see. My sisters! I haven't really been seeing my family much because of school, and I feel aweful for not spending time with those two. Luckily, the holidays are the perfect little events that allow me to just sit and play with them or talk to them. Oh whatever =]

I live in South America, in Uruguay. Most of my family is still in the States, including my sister. I'm pretty excited about because she's coming down here with her boyfriend to visit over the holidays. Otherwise, Christmas isn't that big of a deal to me anymore, though the rest of my family are all very into decorating and things like that. But yeah, for me it's just another chance to see family I don't get to hang out with very often.

I don't have the biggest of families, so everyone pretty much lives in the same place, unfortunately. My parents live an hour away though, so I'll actually get to see them here this Christmas, but then there's the "I don't want to spend time with my brother-in-law's family who hates me" portion of it all. But at least everyone gets to get together, and my parents will bring my beloved dog (that I can't keep with me because I can't have a pet right now). So I'll be all happy about that. My pet counts as a family member to me, and I'll get my parents, and that's all I need. Everyone else is already with me. On the bigger plus side however, one of my best friends is visiting her family up north of me for the holiday season, and I may get to see her as well!

I look forward not to seeing someone specifc, but to seeing something. Every year between the 20th of december and the 31st, there is a place in our city that cooks these kind of sugar glazed nuts and hand them out freely to those who are in need of food. You yourself decide what you want to pay for the nuts, and you can take them for free if you feel your conscience can deal with it. They've got locales with warmth, and every year the place is full to the bursting point. Those who have nothing tend to sit there and share stories with each other, tell you of which lives the have led, and how they ended up in the mess they did. The amount of caring and love you'll find there goes far beyond what I found in my own home. Perhaps thats why I prefer spending my christmas alone.

As someone who no longer likes / enjoys christmas there is only one thing I enjoy about it really. That is the fact I normally use it as a chance to go and visit my dad asI can't see him too often but try to make an effort near the holidays. When up there of course I love the fact i get to see my amazing step mum and my 4 younger step brothers along with the friends I made when up there. This year though I am excited to see my mum after christmas, mainly as she is getting married on the 27th and after all our hard work together on the wedding etc I can't wait to see how it comes out. So yeah.. that's me.....

Only family this time of year. My parents, me and my bros travel to our village, to spend the first few days of Eid with them. While there we also meet my uncles and aunts and cousins, its pretty nice, though I'm made to do physical labor and stuff. Also I'm constantly being corrected as I can't speak my native tongue as fluently as English, one of my many flaws that they feel they need to remind me. After that we visit my mothers side of the family. Not much to do there but laze around, use the net and eat the food. The price I must pay is being told to go into a 'mans' field of study, such as engineering and to get my long hair cut with it. Also my cousins over there don't waste an opportunity to drag me into their games, as a result I end up locking myself in a room to keep them out. And then we come back home, glad to sleep in our own beds.

My family is quite large if one counts further than siblings, which makes it hard for everyone to gather, and half of the families doesn't even celebrate it with each others. So when I meet my relatives on christmas, it's basically just me and approximately 15 people. They are all very kind and I like them all, but of them all the youngest cousin, which is 2 years younger than me is the best company. There's always things to talk about and he also works within the computer industry, something that makes me quite interested.

So yea, he's basically the one I look forward to meet the most

Honestly, I'm excited to see the family and friends I don't normally get to see, especially my mom. I'm in vet school several hours away from my family, so I don't get to see them very often anymore. Christmas is a great time to catch back up with everyone, to spend time with my friends, to enjoy some quality time with my family. Getting to talk to my mother about what's been going on, both good and bad, is also something I miss (though I could always do with less bad, lol). My brothers, though they get on my nerves, are still ones who I talk to and confide in, and I love playing and talking video games with them. The same with my close friends, especially my best friend who I don't get to talk to often.

All in all, I'm happy to be going home, and away from school. The time I have with my family is precious, and I wouldn't miss it for the world.

I'm not really exicted to see anyone in secific. I just enjoy seeing my extended family together. It isn't often I get to see my cousins, aunts, and uncles, so I enjoy the dinner we have on Christmas eve. It gives the whole family a chance to catch up on what has hapened over the last year. There are usually a few silly games weplay every year in which me and my uncle get way to competitive over, and a grab bag which ends up being "Look how I outdid everyone elses gift." But it always is a good time, and a fun party. And that's what I'm looking foward to this christmas

This holiday I am looking forward to seeing all of my family. It is far too little that I get to see so many of them these days and it is great to get to spend some time with them. I really think thats what the holidays are about. That being said my cousins are probably the people I want to see most as I used to be so close to them and we still always have a good time when we are together. Honestly though, I just want to see everyone from my grandparents to my aunts and uncles and any other family member you can think of. It is all just great and it is what makes christmas special, I feel like sometimes people forget that.

Christmas is usually an event where everyone who shows up at different times during the year ends up here at our house. The real immediate family, my mom, dad, uncle, aunt, cousins and my brother-in-law, sister and their kids. My brother's kids are usually here as well. Pretty much it's just another reason for everyone to eat some good food and try to enjoy the season. My sister's usually around with her family as well for one of the few times a year. So all in all, just another gathering like Easter and Thanksgiving.

Throughout the holidays there are many that come and go, however there are two specific people I always am pleased to see during them. The first is the one encounter that always brings tears to my eyes and I only see her once every three years and that is my mother's gravestone. I visit her that one time and it is always something that puts a bit of an emotional tune on my heart. The second person I like seeing every holiday season and even outside of it is my fiance. It is always fun to see her and I do enjoy it.

Soo, Christmas. Although it is not that big a deal we still observe certain Christmas obligations such as the Christmas dinner. My family is luckily quite small (thank Saint Barbara). However, the families on my fathers and mothers side had a fall out with each other when I was still in an infant over a piece of land in Zeeland (The old one, not the New Zealand). As a result it is better not to stick those together in a room. Luckily, my government in all its wisdom has ordained that there are in fact not one, but TWO days of Christmas. Yes, on the 26th of December it is still officially Christmas per government sanction (LANG LEVE DE KONING! HOERA HOERA HOERA!), which we in our infinite creativity called: Tweede Kerstdag (EN: Second day of Christmas). So, on the first day of Christmas we shall have one side of the family over and on the second day the other side of the family. Though I must say, I am already tired of having to deal with those people, having them gathered all in one place spread over two days: Excruciating.

Well for me, I want to see my family but as it turns out I will not be able to see my large family as I previously mentioned in another post. It looks like the family has slowly began other traditions so the family gathering that happens on Christmas is a no show especially since my favorite aunt is leaving the city to see her son in Colorado.

For me though the one creature I am excited to see who is starting to become a tradition in my family is seeing Baby. Baby is a little hyper pup owned by my favorite Aunt. He's hyper, he's active, he loves to lick and we have him every year now to the point where he has his own stocking. I love him to tears and it is going to be sad when my Aunt decides to move to Colorado. Her son wants her to move there. He said he would take care of her and she does not have to worry about anything anymore. He makes great money as an architect. Until then however I will be enjoying my time with both of them.

PS: I still have not purchased anything for my father. My father is hard as hell to figure out what to get. I'm actually going to have to ask his friends to see if they have an idea because me and my pops don't exactly keep in touch.

I am most excited to see my sweet sister again. I try to stay in touch with her, but it always fails. She is one of my favorite people in this world, with may of my eccentricities, and a deep understanding. We'll chat about classics, and reminiscence and have something good to drink, and enjoy ourselves on Christmas Eve and on the day itself. It always is a good time when we meet up, even if we met up a month ago, the holidays bring the best of times.

I also know I'll meet up with some old friends. At least one friend from several years ago will be crashing by my place between Xmas and New Years, which is for the best. That'll bring the kind of honest conversation that lasts through the nights, the nostalgia, the hopefulness, and everything in between.

Not a person who celebrates Christmas typically, for the last few years I've been alone. My partner as of late has two kids, and Christmas is the world to them. So for me, that's my family. Seeing and spending time with those kids, and my partner. I live too far away to see any of what family I have left. I also don't have many friends, I move a lot and don't like people on a whole. They tend to suck. "'tis the season to be Jolly One, cheer up." I'm happy, I just don't like people. Otherwise I would like to see my brother, but again he's too far away and we're both busy. So I would like to see family, relatives and those I've adopted as my own through love.
