Hakuro moved in front of everyone and, being prepared for any kind of attack, he mentally prepared himself for anything. After he made his way to the front of the group, he began to jump up to one of the tree branches and continued towards the Hidden Leaf at a reasonable pace so they get there quickly, but not so quickly as to leave everyone else behind. Hakuro tried not to think about the dangers of going into this mission as it seemed more appropriate for a team of three Jounin-ranked shinobi. However, if it is necessary, then it is indeed necessary. Hoping Lady Mizukage knew what she was doing, he pressed onward.

Description: Effective striking with the weapons of the body to the opponent’s vital points is essential for a victorious outcome in a hand-to-hand struggle. A ninja must be able to employ the principles of effective striking if he is to emerge as the survivor in a fight to the death. Strikes should be targeted at the opponent’s vital points and nerve motor points. Strikes to nerve motor points cause temporary mental stunning and muscle motor dysfunction to the affected areas of the body. Mental stunning results when the brain is momentarily disoriented by overstimulation from too much input—for example, a strike to a major nerve. The stunning completely disables an opponent for three to seven seconds and allows the ninja to finish off the opponent, gain total control of the situation, or make his escape. Sometimes, such a strike causes unconsciousness. A successful strike to a nerve motor center also renders the affected body part immovable by causing muscle spasms and dysfunction due to nerve overload.

Description: Proper mental attitude is of primary importance in the Krav Maga's ability to strike an opponent. In hand-to-hand combat, the Krav Maga must have the attitude that he will defeat the enemy and complete the mission, no matter what. In a fight to the death, the Krav Maga user must have the frame of mind to survive above all else; the prospect of losing cannot enter his mind. He must commit himself to hit the opponent continuously with whatever it takes to drive him to the ground or end his resistance. A memory aid is, “Thump him and dump him!”

Effect: Increases the chance that an attack with have the maximum desired effects.

Description: A strike should be delivered so that the target is hit and the weapon remains on the impact site for at least a tenth of a second. This imparts all of the kinetic energy of the strike into the target area, producing a fluid shock wave that travels into the affected tissue and causes maximum damage. It is imperative that all strikes to vital points and nerve motor points are delivered with this principle in mind. The memory aid is, “Hit and stick!”

And off went Hakuro.

For a moment, Iname stood there, compeltely awestruck. It had appeared to him as if they had just talked about the dangers of the Leaf Village, and here was Hakuro, charging into the forest without waiting for the team. Focusing chakra into his legs, Iname chased after Hakuro, quickly catching up. He took his place among the soon-to-be formation, just as Hijikata-sensei had instructed.

As the wind blew through his hair and the sun shone upon them, Iname couldn't help but think about how the mission could go wrong. Three genin and a jounin sent on an A-rank mission was certainly asking for disaster. If they were confronted by an enemy, they didn't exactly know each other's abilities. If they got lost, they failed to create a method of getting back. Although his mind focused on disaster, his will focused on success, and he prepared himself for what lay ahead in the Land of Fire.

Keeping his magnetic field in check, Tsuraiki got to the right and jumped up to the tree branches as well. He had been used to be up higher from when he was in the thunder country, so this wasnt too hard. But he wasnt quite sure how things would turn out when they were here. Keeping that in mind, he wondered if the others had fears about this mission. Tsuraiki didnt have too many fears, but it was always good to have a little bit of fear. He continued on with the mission.

Hakuro was definitely... eager to get into things. His enthusiam was great, his reaction time... not so much. Just the same, Iname chased after him and no sooner did Tsuraiki. She chucked to herself before honing her instincts for the job at hand. Otafuku Gai wasn't too far away considering or at least so she figured based off her previous travels to Hi no Kuni. They had managed to keep as low a profile as foreigners could get and soon they would arrive at an inn. This would also serve as the outpost for them to contact the Hokage and let themselves become known. Here was when the danger escalated that much further, before there was a chance to get back on the boat and run but now they were in the hands of Konoha. As such, upon arrival Hijikata would check them in and get the boys ready for their first steps in becoming proper diplomats.

"Congratulations on getting this far. Our team formation was solid and this was only our first time. Over the next few days, we'll have the chance to better get to know each other while we wait for word from the officials in Leaf. This is the time we'll take to prep on becoming a diplomat for Kirigakure no sato. Iname, you're the most suited candidate to deliver the message to the messenger tower. You'll have to be calm and civil, always present your papers when you do so. It shouldn't be much longer but we'll be learning some valuable skills on this mission." she explained then motioned for them to head to the room she checked in for them. At least, they'd be safe in this room... for now.

OOC: Iname, you can simply make such a post in this thread and then NPC the messenger bird heading to the Tower. After that, it's up to Leaf.

As they ran through the trees, Iname took time to notice the healthy trees around him. He knew that they were teeming with wildlife, housing many woodland animals. The sky was clear and the sun shone brightly. He would likely blind the others had he stayed in his transitional membrane state. Looking forward as Hijikata spoke, he nodded. It was time to go.

He would dart ahead of the group, papers in hand. He was careful not to dirty them or cause wrinkles as he ran through the forest. As he ran forward, he looked back to see the group, still in sight. They were quite a distance from he now, but nothing that couldn't be made up. He smiled, facing forwards once more and headed off to the Leaf Capital.

Still at Otafuka Gai, Tsuraiki wondered when the ninja that they were waiting for would show up. It had only been a couple days, but should this continue on, his team would end up just sitting here, waiting. Iname had already delivered a paper, asking for a delagate of leaf to come, but nothing so far. He turned to Hijikata, and said "Hijikata-Sensei? Do you have any idea how much longer we have to wait? It is getting a little annoying having to sit here day in and day out, waiting for someone, only to have no one come at all."

Hijikata looked to Tsuraiki who brought up an obvious point. This was the nature of delgate missions such as this, when the level of danger was neutralized. She looked thoughtful for a moment before responding. "Well... while we wait, perhaps we can do some team building excercises. There is still much of Hi no Kuni that we haven't seen and as a new team, there's still much that we need to learn." At that moment, she also looked to Hakuro who was probably feeling the same as Tsuraiki. "Once Iname-kun is back from the regular check, we'll head out for a moment. I've got the perfect idea in mind." She flashed the two boys a reassuring smile, then looked out the window of the Inn.

Failure.

Iname would look rather annoyed as he returned to the group. He had waited days for the bird to just get to the freaking tower, only to find that it was abandoned. The Hokage must have relocated, seeing as the bird could not make it inside. Finding the group, Iname would stumble down to where they rest, anger building inside him.

"I apologize for the delay, everyone. But it would seem as the Hokage has relocated his tower. The messenger bird was not able to enter his office for... It could not find it."

The bird would come to perch nearby, staying near the group. It was surely tame, as any other bird would fly away to free itself. Iname would turn to angrily look at the flying creature, then return his gaze to Hijikata and the others. "What do we do now?"

With Iname rushing back in for the day, it would seem that things weren't looking good. The young bird did try it's best to help. Normally in this situation, they'd have to search for Konohagakure themselves which would be more dangerous considering their hostile attack towards them prior. Alternatively, they'd have to do some questing in the capital. Perhaps a training session was also due. "Well, the best course of action in this scenario is the slowest route. We'll have to send out the letter through The fire nations mail delivery service. Any mail concerning the Hokage would be filtered through ANBU and sent to wherever the new office was.

We can simply drop it off downstairs before we head out. I'd like to treat you guys to something and get to know everyone better. Since we'll probably be here for awhile, I'd like you all to resume your training...as a team."

Time waited for no shinobi, so this was the best course of action.

"Any meal ideas? It's my treat." the last part she added to divert the room away from the small mishap. Either way they'd be victorious in the end.

OOC: Doesn't matter who drops off the letter, once you've all posted I'll make the new topic for the restaurant/training area. We'll return to this topic once the mission is complete. At least Taisuke's making us work for the money eh?

Having not been here before, Tsuraiki had no idea where anything was, so he would have to follow his sensei. But he was mad that their mission wasnt over. He couldnt resume his training in learning to sprout wings without his mother there, and wouldnt do any masamune techniques without his father there. So he would just have to train in other things. He had also wished he had brought Orion with him as he would be capable of training in techniques with him as well. But he was sure to be able to find something else to train in. "Sorry, dont have any ideas." He simply stated, following Hijikata out.

Iname followed the two, still angered by the length of the mission. Hijikata-sensei began to talk of sending the treaty through means of the regular mail service, and the Ekitai dreaded the thought. But then, talk of training arose, and Iname smiled slightly. He had a few jutsu he wanted to learn, and training with others would certainly help his experience as working with a team. Smiling as he marched on, he would speak up as Hijikata asked for a place to eat. Having not been there before, Iname had no idea, so, speaking up, he'd say, "Sorry, Hijikata-sensei. I don't know of any places to eat around these parts." Following them down a trail, he would turn to see if Hakuro was to follow.

The mission mostly complete, Tsuraiki reentered the room that they had been in, grabbed his things, and walked out. When all was ready, Tsuraiki would say "Is it finally time for us to head home?" He still held the envelope with the treaty in it at the current moment.

A response would come, saying yes, so Tsuraiki would take the lead this time, headed toward the spot in which they arrived. But first, the group left Otafuku Gai, and headed into the main part of the country of fire.

They had been in the land of fire for so long. To feel the mist again would be nice. So Tsuraiki would continue to lead the group along, headed toward the coast. Running along the tops of the trees, Raiki looked back every now and again, making sure Hakuro, Iname, and Hijikata were all still there. He then kept up the move, going quickly. Not many words were said as the group made it back to a boat, who took the group across the seas, and to the land of mist. They were nearly home.

Finally back in the land of water, Tsuraiki hopped out of the boat with the rest of his team. They were home, at last. He then lead the team to the village. It was time for them to collect the reward.
