he introduction of the qualities of the spear seemed to have gone quite good as the kazekage appeared satisfied. So he gently brought the creation back into his hands in front of himself before he used his right hand to sweep across its surface. By sending a small amount of chakra in his hand, Emi removed all the dust and small burn marks in the metal so it looked completely fresh and extra sparkly. Then he just wrapped the spear back into the cloth previously used to protect it before handing over it to Victoria with a smile upon his face.

Enjoy. It is probably one of the most complex creations I've seen. I would however suggest that you add a piston enhancement to the blunt end.

Emi then listened to what Shiki said and realized that he had not in fact presented himself. So when he noticed that it was his time to answer, he felt obligated to add that in.

Yes, I am Hoshigaki Emi of the Crimson rain, and I would be honored to assist with increasing the quality of your shinobis and if allowed, your village. I would doubt that the Amekage would deny me this possibility to bring the nations closer as you might have noticed during the meeting, I am counseling her.

Even though it had him become more of a target, he doubted it was any news for Shiki as he himself had been there. A few plans he had been thinking off for his own village had his vision reveal a vague thought in the corner of his mind as he discussed the improvements. He did however know he couldn't reveal those until he was sure of the state of the village.

But for all means, send her a message to confirm it.

As Emi then felt like they both had received the words expected in the situation and was prepared that Shiki would excuse himself to send the message, Emi turned his head towards Victoria and said with a quieter voice.

If you wish to have a piston enhancement, I can fix it for you whenever there's time for it.

"Impressive." I paused for a moment. "The matter I mentioned earlier. Do take care of that and we you return we can set up a meeting with your kage." With that there was nothing more for me to say as the ninja had been tasked. Before completely letting this ninja take charge of my ninja I needed to make sure he could handle something simple before pushing any further expectations.

mi bowed to the kazekage as he finished their discussion. It was not exactly clear on the exact task intended for him other than to teach his shinobis on how to improve, but he figured the best ways to do it one was to just follow some of them on some routine missions.

Your will be done. I hope the information of my presence in the village has been spread as I might need to follow your shinobi through the gates or through the village.

Emi didn't wait long for the kage to respond as it was still very clear that he didn't intend to draw the meeting any further. So the Hoshigaki then crossed the doorway out from the bedroom and tried to navigate himself out from the tower and into the city.

Victoria listened to Shiki's final words and watched Emi leave, a little sad that their party had come to an end but glad to be moving on with new missions, and she knew that all three of them were destined to meet again. It was obvious. Victoria looked at Shiki, giving him that smile and ferocious stare that was so representative of Valerys, and said, "So, then, Shiki any last words for me now that we're alone?" Indeed, Valerys wondered how it felt for him to now having her flirt with him in two of her faces -- the Kedoin bloodline could be quite appealing. She would listen to whatever he had to say, and if it required more conversation then she would stick around. Otherwise, if he was done then she would give him a little bow and say, "My Lord..."

She looked up at him from the bow and said, "I'll see you soon I'm sure. Thank you for the new opportunity." No longer did Victoria seem so sweet (althugh her actions seemed to mock it), a radical shift from the woman Emi knew. Victoria would stand back up to her usual height and depending on whether or not he had anything to add, prepared to take her leave. As she was getting ready to leave, however, Victoria would relish the bit of alone time that they got to spend together and looked forward to investigating this new figure -- because at the end of it she would be reporting to Shiki again.

It had been a while since Amira had seen anything other than a hospital bed, and it was even longer since she had seen any symbalance of the life she once knew as the Kazekage. She had relenquished her reign, and the freedom from the stress and the treatments she had recieved had helped improve her sickly nature. Now in remission, she had just been cleared to do simple tasks, nothing too crazy, but she was now free to resume her daily life. For her, this was a monumentous moment, the moment she would get to see the village of her successor, the man she hoped had become the kage in her absence. She had faith that the council would choose her friend as worthy, and with that she approached the stone building for the first time since the summer, when life had been bleaker then the now bright winter.

The stone facade of the building was beautiful in the winter afternoon light, Amira's view on life had been altered since her dance with death. She slowly opened the doors to the familiar building, making her way inside the foyer to see a bustling scene. There were ninja everywhere, and to Amira's surprise, everyone seemed to be moving with a purpous, much more effciently than when she had been running things. This was of course a byproduct of the hard work of her friend, the slayer. She slowly made her way to the front desk, her casual attire was something that she had just picked up from home, choosing to look simple. NOt needing to wear the attire of a leader, and the freedom from pressure was alleviating to say the least. She felt like she had dropped a 100 pounds of weight.

She wore a white casual t-shirt, with cuts in the shoulders exposing her dark skin under the shirt. Her hair was in a short braid down her back, keeping her silver hair tightly to her back. She had on a simple skirt, a pair of sandels, and had a messenger bag with a knife and a few other random things. She appraoched the front desk and pulled out her ninja ID card, figuring this was the first time in years she would have needed it. "Hi I'm Amira, I would like to accept this mission please, I was just cleared by the hospital to resume my ninja duties," She said in a warm, cheerful tone, putting her idel hands on the desk as she slid her idea to the clerk at the desk, whoever it was now.

The Nightman Cometh

Objective: A spooky figure has been sighted in the yard of a resident of the village.
Description: David is a stocky man with one arm, a retired guard for a town in a far away land who lives in Sunagakure to sell his lovely flowers, and was not a superstitious man until recently, when he was having bad dreams about a shadowy figure skulking around his house, only to wake up and find that his garden gnomes had been pilfered! Requesting aid from the village, he would like to see some Shinobi protect his garden from this shadowy figure. Although it seems scary, a shadowy figure and garden gnome theft; there are many possible explanations, from kids stealing them as a prank, to a neighbour being a sleepwalking kleptomaniac. Find out who is stealing those gnomes and inform David. David can be found sitting on the second floor of the Kazekage tower, asleep against the wall. This mission can be taken by up to three Shinobi.

The desk lady would smile. Of course she knew who she was. The secretary would smile as she reached out to the small envelope at the desk. She would open it up and then would hand out a small ID card. The ID card would have a picture of Amira and would hold a special indication that she was permitted to move freely from the gates and was expected to return every three months upon departure. The ID card would also have a fake name on it.

"While you're out on missions you can't call yourself that anymore lady Amira. If another village found out you were the kazekage they would kidnap you. Please make sure you go by your alias."

With that they would stamp her mission and she would be good to go. It was funny now that after she was so suddenly free from the burdens of being a ninja she became one once more as soon as she could.

Amira sighed at the seriousness of the tone of the receptionist at the front desk as she relenquished her ID, taking the new credentials from the envolope that had been handed to her. "Makes sense to me, I'm oddly not one to disobey orders." She stated, figuring the idea was based soley in the realm of national security. She slowly unfolded the flap of the envolope, reaching her thin fingers into the pocket as she pulled out her new ID card, registration papers, and clearance documents. Amira read the plastic ID, "Aoi Fugiwara...what a lame alias," She would chuckle as she would take the documents back into the envelope before tapping the desk, taking her mission slip, and heading towards the door. It was time to get back to work.

It was strange that after having had down time, it had only made her desire to work that much stronger. Now that Shiki had taken over as the Kage, she was sure that things were going to turn around for the better. With that thought she would nod and make her way to the exit. She was ready to walk out into the afternoon sun. The weather was beautiful for a mission, though she would have to take some time to prepare before she left. She would step into the light, pushing past the doors as she would work down the streets of the wind district, heading home to prepare for her operations that evening.

Amira made her way into the tower, looking a bit sandy. Her combat outfit of her Khaki sunagakure BDU with tactical rig setup made her stand out as she made her way to the front desk. She handed the receptionist her new ID card with her fake name on it and the completed mission slip. "I've completed my assignment....it was fairly simple, and the perp has been arrested." Amira commented as she pulled out another standardized form. "I also included my report, which shold explain what happpened during the mission." Amira finished as she would wait for the receptionist to respond and distribute her payment much like normal. It had been a while since she had been on the receiving end of a mission. This was an old feeling that she could tell she sorely missed.

The receptionist looked over the form and smilled. "I'll send the mission report up to the kazekage. Also, you now have one D rank armory voucher you can cash in next time you see the quarter master." The receptionist handed back a small bag with 20,000 Ryo in it. The mission was recorded and then the receptionist would smile once more.

Entering the building, the goal had been to come back out with a mission that seemed just right for him. Something outdoorsy, preferably for him alone so he wouldn't have to carry people around the entire time. Now that he was a Chuunin, he could take on missions that would take him outside of the village, and carried some more weight at the same time. No more picking weeds, catching and returning lost cats or helping old ladies cross the streets. No, for all intents and purposes, he was a big boy now, even though he was still only eleven years old. Starting up a conversation with the receptionist, he started asking about missions that were more fitting for someone of his rank, something that would keep him busy for a bit.

The receptionist would hand the young chuunin a mission slip that was concealed inside an envelope. The mission parameters were pretty simple. To set a scheduled meeting where Shiki and the Amekage could speak about village affairs. Hamura would be tasked with finding a location that was easily defendable and not inside either villages and work with the Amekage's security to make sure they wouldn't be interrupted. The receptionist handed the slip over and then waited for any questions.

Taking the slip, Hamura made his way out of the building without even properly reading it at first. Heading straight home to pick up whatever gear he felt he needed, he placed the sealed envelope on the table before preparing several sandwiches to bring along. By the time he was fully geared up, he opened the envelope and went about reading the details. Although a bit bland and lacking in action for his tastes, he figured that these things were also a part of his job as a Shinobi. Placing the sandwiches in a sealed plastic bag, he also cooked a bunch of chicken breasts, seasoning them to the point where they were just the right amount of spicy before dousing them in soy sauce, poking them onto skewers and tossing them in an additional sealed bag. Ready to undertake his mission, he left the village shortly after.

Shoko found himself in the Kazekage Tower. A majestic construct of thick sandstone with a myriad of walkways surrounding it in all directions. It was there, that Shoko would register humbly with the security men stationed at its entrance, and have his weapons and equipment duefully collected as he was allowed to proceed to the interior of the massive complex. Shoko found himself mildly uninterested with the statues of previous kage as he approached the receptionist to request a mission.

Objective: We see missions like this all the time. It's not uncommon for some trade deals to be not concluded not with a pen but a dagger. So long as there is work like this that needs to be done, there will always be a place for our kind to make a living. The mission is simple, kill the merchant in his caravan as he travels from city to city. There may be 1-3 guards.

The receptionist would stamp the paper and update the roster that he was heading out on a mission. He would be good to go unless he had any questions to the receptionist for the ninja.

Shoko collected his now stamped mission slip, following up with a curt salute as he turned around and advanced to the exit. Meanwhile his mind roamed over what sort of equipment he should be bringing to this sort of assignment, which believe it or not, was the first time he'd actually been assigned to kill someone. Devoid of any moral concern, Shoko exited the building.

Entering the Tower.

It's something I've done many times now, but always driven by purpose. Now...to fulfil my own selfish wants, well, it wouldn't be wierd for me to be a bit nervous. Even though now I've been formally recognized as a chuunin. Realistically, I still had long way to go. I needed to raise my "value" more. But for now...

I just wanted to make a request of the Commander, no, the Kazekage, even though maybe it was a bit like something unreasonable. But maybe it was fine, after all this body was not even nine years old yet.

It shouldn't take long to get a meeting. After all, I am the Emissary of the Wolf, the Voice of the Kazekage in matters of policy and diplomacy. That's too much for a child, really, but for me it was manageable.

"I'd like to request some vacation time. No, some time without doing the Chuunin's job, but it isnt as if I want to goof off. Actually, there's still too much I don't know in order to do our job. The exams showed me that much, at least. I plan to pursue an education for a while. It probably seems too mundane, but I think that kind of normal every day life would be the best way to learn. I don't know how long it will be, but it most likely won't require me to leave the village, at least."

Valerys entered the Tower and as she did she would see that it was already occupied by some ninja other than the Anbu and employees who ordinarily staffed the lobby. She would try her best to remain in the shadows, however, as she wasn't here to make new friends or even to check up on Shiki -- who she suspected was still somewhere in Tower. In his bedroom, perhaps, or his office. Either way, this was not the reason she was here.

Valerys walked up to the receptionist desk and asked about the missions that were available. She wore her usual outfit, a red tanktop and skirt, but had few items on her as of now -- preferring to don them later before the mission. Valerys requested a C-rank mission of at least some worth, hoping to get a little bit of fun out of escorting individuals around the countryside. She waited to see if her mission would be approved, and prepared herself -- it had been a while since she had done any active ninja duties like this. Gathering information? Anbu missions? Sure. I guess I'll have to get back to the basics... How aggravating.

Description: carpenters and merchants alike transport goods from one place to another. It is also just as common to have those goods coveted. Protect the middle class merchant/craftsman/citizen at all costs. Their goods drop location will vary depending on information you are given by the informant at the beginning. So attention to detail and directions are important here. Also if any of the merchandise is damaged the ninja or team will be responsible for their replacement. This mission may be taken by one ninja of any rank or a team consisting of up to four members (one Captian). This mission may be repeated after 1 real life week!

Looking over the request for a mission, the receptionist made his way through several requests that had come in recently. As the land of Wind was arguably the largest nation in the ninja world, the fact that they got requests for missions at the Hidden Sand was to be expected from those who lived anywhere else. Due to the size of the country, new missions making their way to the village were actually not all that frequent, given how far most towns and settlements were removed from the village for the sake of living in more ideal conditions. Because the place was mostly desert and one could easily get lost out there, a group of decently wealthy folk had requested shinobi protection during their travels. Handing the mission details over to the woman, he figured that she'd be up to the task.

Valerys was handed her mission and she accepted it, listening to all of the details before gathering her composure and preparing to go get her items. Soon she would meet with these merchants and see why they needed to be guarded, and wondered whether or not she would get to kill someone this time. With that thought in mind, Valerys left the Kazekage Tower and was on her way to complete her mission.

Valerys walked back into the Kazekage Tower looking as she had not long ago, her spear now hidden away that she had been satisfied from the mission and wanted to clean the blood off of it when she got him. She was wearing her usual red tanktop and shorts. She walked up to the counter and handed over her paperwork of approval and told them about how she had met several bandits who she quickly dealt with. The merchants were safe and the mission had gone well.

She waited to recieve her payment and the voucher that was normally handed out to Sand shinobi for such missions, or at least she had been told. Now that she had done one, she was excited to go get some of the items that she so desperately needed. Then it would be back to this grind on the missions.
